I'd be curious what you could do with the Gym Leaders if the Pokedex was reversed. For example Kanto with only Gen 9 Pokemon available, Johto with Gen 8 and Gen 9 Pokemon available etc.

8:27 Lets just ignore that Draining Kiss wasn't introduced until gen VI and Hyper Voice has always been Normal type and so neither will work especially well against Fighting types. This team folds to either a Scrafty, any fast Fighting type or a Fighting type holding a Chesto with ease.
I’m really curious to see it too! I kind of hope he has a better version of his BW team but if he gets all normal types it would be interesting to see the change from Leonora’s team.
You didn't mention that Elektross also has a ground immunity with levitate. Also you can do triple battles in gen 6 as well, but only in a specific house at the post-game of XY...
1:56 isn't a bit too much for a second gym? I thing the musharna should stay as munna... 2:21 same goes with him, I dont care if the Bisharp has lower stats than leavanny, it has a far better typing, another final evolution before, and Scraggy (that doesn't have a x4 weakness yet)
The issue I have with Grimsley, Shauntal and Drayden/Iris is that they way they're set in reverse their Pokémon like Chandelure and Bisharp could not even be obtainable because they evolve so late, cause when at the 3rd and 4th gym you're battling leaders in the mid 20s ish level wise
I mean, my headcannon is that the gym leaders can just go and capture their team like every other trainer Like, brock has a Onix as a Ace and you can only get one after Surge at the rock tunnel, so he just go there and catch one
I think the first 4 gym leaders should have 3 different teams depending on how many gym badges you have (like brock does in pokemon origins) The first gym leader you face will have a team of 2, the second and third will have a team of 3, and the last will have a team of 4 You can fit in some team plasma shenanigan/side quest after the second gym to make the main character sidetrack and give a chance to gain experience before continuing the gym challenge That will help explain the shift in level caps

Idea for more chaos: For challenge mode of this reverse order swap Chauntel and Grimsley. Then have her hold evolite on Lampent and for Grimsley evolve his Scrafty and make it a bulky attacker carrying the move Zen Headbutt...
Wasn't there also an option for a triple battle in XY in gen 6? I thought I remembered that happening. However, rotations battles were exclusive to only gen 5

Just say “I didn’t like that” or do what they told us in kindergarten, “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all”.
If you wanted to be more traditional, Cilan, Cress, and Chili can be replaced with Roxy (Roxy right? The poison gym leader from b2w2). And Colress is a nice choice for the champion! Cheren could also work though. Rival in BW and 1st gym leader in b2w2 so he fits two different categories.

It's not all that hard, there's 7 Trial Captains he can use then he could use 1 of the Kahuna's not used in the Elite Four as the 1st or even 8th Gym Leader.
Might as well give Cilan and Cress the other Unovan starters or give Chili a Darmanitan instead of an Emboar Seems so out of place for one of the trio members to have a fully evolved starter and not the other two
The reasoning made sense. Darmanitan is more monkey like and not a common food for some cultures whereas pigs are along with fish and mushrooms all of which are protein/fat based as well.
