And this is how they ended: Stephanie gets betrayed. Jason gets arrested for grand theft auto. Dick became insane. Damian returned to the League of Assassins and killed his monk brothers. Tim becomes rich.
@The Dogman still there life except Dick Grayson would have been amazing and this is where he DID NOT meet them so the robins even tho i absolutely love batman and the batfam but its just awful. Especially in a CANON comic where Bruce impregnated batgurl and Tim was in a relationship with her at the time and understandably he was PISSED and beat the brakes of him of course Bruce did not resist meanwhile Barbara was getting mugged and beating and lead to her getting a miscarriage and even tho Bman is a goat he is kanda flawed but its creepy wrighters fault actually but default Bruce or Batman was a TRUE GOAT.
@The Dogman most of them are 13 fighting crimes in the most violent city in all of DC Comics sure there saving people but it’s no doubt he ruined there lives
My man kept out several key details from this comic. This is a simulation a villain put them in. These futures are what Batman thought would happen to them without him. So none of this is really official in any way. And while yes, for a moment they are all happy and successful. Later in the comic, they all fall apart in their own way. Dick loses himself, with all the lies and lack of clear rules that are common with spy work, he becomes unable to even trust his own heart and sinks deep into depression, mania and what looks like substance abuse. They say it was the hypnosis he was using, but he knows the truth. Spoiler eventually loses the trust of everyone because she leads the Teen Titans farther and farther away from the Justice League. Superman asks her to reel them back in and because of her mistrust of adults, she starts a fight with him over it. And the Titans lose. Badly. Damien eventually grows tired of being a monk. He wants more than to "just be". Hes asked to leave the monestary, and he hurts his monk brothers. He then returns to the League of Assassins, more willing to follow them, than ever. And finally, Jason is still better off, in my opinion. He stops winning races, but because his organization **always** needs money, he resorts to stealing cars in order to fund it. One day he is caught and put in jail for a very long time. Edit 1/05/23: Tim wasn't included in the simulation. He was simply being held captive by the villain. This comic is Robins: issue #5
It feels like whenever Jason not become a red hood, he ended up in jail. Like in that interactive story animation, where he killed Joker and ended up in jail.....
It should be specified that these "futures" were idealistic versions of a universe without Batman that their minds made up. Their realistic lives without Batman are a bit rougher than these.
Cuz he wasn’t hooked up to the same machine showing Batman these simulations. Oh, btw this isn’t actually a what if story, Batman was trapped in a simulation
@@tsnoob4669In another Timeline he becomes an arms dealer with Black Canary or in Flash point he becomes a priest after joining the cult of Blackfire.
He looks like he needs to master all four elements with 3 young teachers who join his team, all while evading the hands of Zuko, Admiral Xhao and Azula. He looks like he commonly destroys cabbages and gets voice acted by a bald lady in a play. He looks like he can become a god at will but only if he abandons love
Don't think so the court is a Gothem based group who hates any form of attention so him being a spy for a organisation would basically rule him out for them because a missing spy would draw a lot of attention.
The comic said this is what "batman thinks" would be if they never became Robins. They didn't see some alternative reality or something, this was just some simulation. They also seem to have skipped all the negatives the comic said would happen if they never became Robin. Edit: I read the issue so I can show those negatives I said. Stephanie Brown: I led the Titans, pushing them further and further away from the JLA, Superman asked me to reel them back in. I said adults had never been on my side and... I told superman to go to Hell. There was a fight. We lost. No one would trust me after that. Jason Todd: I kept racing, but I stopped winning. The clinic needed money, it always needed money. So I took a side job doing what I grew up doing. I stole cars I did what I had to do. Until it put me in jail. Damien Wayne: I tried to reach enlightenment tried but could not. I grew frustrated, I wanted more than just to be. My teachers told me to leave, I attacked my brothers. I hurt them. And, having nothing else... I returned to my Grandfather, invigorated. Dick Grayson: And me I lost myself l. Helena said it was the hypnos but I knew It was the lies. The lack of clear rules. The inability to trust my own heart. As Nightwing says it: We all fell. We aren't just there to catch batman before he falls. He catches us. Edit 2: Funny thing I realised, Bruce didn't even make Damien robin, that was Dick. Damien became robin during Dick's time as batman. So you can't really put the blame on Damien being robin on Bruce since he was literally dead during that period lol Also, in the Batman Court of Owls story it's revealed one of Nightwings grandparents was member the court, so if batman never took him in, Nightwing would have been raised an assassin for the Court, not become a spy so this comic straight up just ignores prior nightwing history. For Damien he was literally raised by international group of terrorists, being Robin gave him a dad and siblings, he also became friends with other kid heroes like Jon Kent Superboy. I don't know how anyone can look at this and be like "Oh yea, being raised by Taila is so much better then Bruce and Alfred." Stephanie supposedly died as Robin but she actually faked her death and went into hiding for a bit, batman apparently was aware of this but never went after her. If she never became Robin she won't have to fake her death and would have just stayed alive. Her starting a war between young heroes and adults just feel out of nowhere and I'm betting they just made it up on the spot because they couldn't think of anything else. Edit 3: Since people keep asking. The comic didn't reveal any negatives for Tim so sorry my fellow Tim fans.
This is so underrated and ought to be focused on. The fact that I had to scroll through bullshit takes like ‘Batman made their lives worse’ and ‘oh so he’s Bad Actually’ to get to this is ridiculous. I know it’s a short but leaving out ‘this is what Batman thinks’ is just misinformation.
Bro facts. This is just throwing out misinformation. Also it's dumb to think their life's would be grate because most of the bat family had some sort of trauma that would've led them down a dark road.
@@migzy4704 Yup Dick Grayson would have lost his parents still, which is why he probably become a spy Jason still was an orphan who’s mom overdosed Tim drake, in some stories, still had his father killed Barbara Gordon would be a hero no matter what, like Stephanie And I’m calling bullshit Damian would EVER be allowed to be a munk
@@tonyc8258 I agree with on some of these. Dick imo would become a Talon. Like you said with Jason's mom, he'd probably grow up to become another crimminal. Tim would probably have the most normal life out of all of them since he has parents. I just don't see Stephanie Brown turning into what the comic said, or starting a fight with JLA. We can all agree Damien would NEVER become a monk! Him being Robin helped his life drastically, he has a big family, pets, a best friend. Saying him not being robin is a good thing and batman leaving him with FREAKING TAILA
Dick gets groomed to join the court of owls, Jason either dies trying to Avenge his mother's murder or becomes a big time criminal, Tim just becomes a tech dude, I haven't read a steph comic, and Damien would be next in line for the league of Assassins
i mean technically without batman Damien Probably wouldn't exist? as presumably bruce would've never met and knocked up Talia al ghul without becoming the batman.
Realistically speaking dick Grayson would join the court of owls and Damian would be the new leader for the assassins and everyone else would be either dead or struggling.
@@shinn631 Dick became insane cause of how he couldn't trust anyone not even himself Stephanie got in a fight with superman about how she keeps reeling the Teen Titans away and loses Jason needed to make more money so he decided to steal cars and sell them but eventually got caught and arrested Damian got bored of the monk life cause he wanted to do more and killed his mobilità brothers and joined the league of assassin's again and is more loyal than ever
Other robins: * becomes crazy monk, spy , and hero stuff* Tim Drake: I wanna make a game about a plumber who saves a princess from a big big big big big turtle with a brother who is in green and is overall the better brother
*Meanwhile in another universe* Miles Morales: I wanna make a game about a hedgehog who saves animals from a sad sad sad sad man with a fox who is yellow and is overall hated
Correction: Damian Wayne would become the leader of assassins,Stephane would most likely become a villain, dick Grayson forcibly turned into a talon, Jason would become a thug or maybe even drug lord.
Later on in that same issue, most of these became true. Steph lost the trust of everyone after pushing her team to be independent from the JL and resulted in them fighting Superman and lost. Jason began to steal cars after losing a couple of races, to get more money, but was arrested. Damien became frustrated for not reaching enlightenment, attacked his monk brothers and returned to the League of Assassins. Dick on the other hand became mentally unstable and depressed from the combination of overdosing on Hypnos, which causes mental instability, and for living a life of lies and having no clear rules, which lead him to not trusting his own heart.
Wouldn't the court of owls take dick to be the next talon like they did with one of his ancestors and wouldn't Damian just become the next leader of the league of assassins
Same If Damian Never Meets Bruce Then He Doesn't Leave the League of Assassins Meaning He'd Continue To Be Indoctrinated By Ras and Talia and Dick would Continue To Be in Hayley's Circus Until he gets taken By the Court And Todd is Debatable It Would Ultimately Come Down To If He Continues To be A Street Kid or not the Only ones Id Believe Of These Is Stephanie Brown and Tim Drake
@@nicholasesdale6569 The Titans can’t exist without Grayson so Stephanie’s is super unbelievable, her dad is a villain, it’d make sense she’d become a villain.
Damian as a Monk........... okay 🤣 I'm imagining Jon meeting this version and being both sad/confused/happy/creeped-out seeing any version of Damian THAT happy
Peaceful multiverse: Damian becomes a monk and has a nice life Dark multiverse: Bruce becomes old making Damian the new Batman only for Batman to stab him in the heart to do some voodoo magic and become Gotham
Richard basically became an American James bond and Damien is The new Avatar, i love it ""The names Grayson, Richard grayson"" ""martini shaken not stirred""
Batman took in Dick Grayson because he was going to go after the crime boss who killed his parents, Dick was going to get killed. Batman saved his life and took in an orphan, I think that he did good for Grayson. I think for either Jason or Tim it was a similar situation, they were an orphan and trying to avenge their parents all by themselves, they would have gone straight into trouble all on their own and probably be killed if it wasn’t for Batman taking them in. Jason was a little criminal, tried robbing the tires off the Batmobile, Batman taught him morals and a better way of life.
Not really Dick would be a talon for the court. Jason would probably be dead,in prison or a gang. Tim would probably be a video game designer. Stephanie would be on the same path as spoiler. And Damien would be leading or being trained to lead the league of assassins
Hold up you telling me Damien Wayne who was raised as an assassin by the league of Shadows and had no problem with killing before meeting his father grows up and becomes a monk. Damn don’t what what this dude smoking but he needs to share
Well I mean he was only made to be Batman’s son, since he never met Batman in anyway I’d say alot changes so he might not even be Batman’s son so he wasn’t put through the same training
@@burningalive1674 his mother is still the Daughter of Ras Al Ghul. She’s a skilled assassin and she only drugged Bruce to get him to create the perfect child with her if Batman didn’t exist she’d probably still drug and take advantage of some man she deemed worthy and she’d still raise her child to kill. Remember she sent Damian to Bruce when he was 12 and Damian was already a decent assassin with no qualms about killing anyone he considered a threat. The reason he stopped killing is because of his father so it’s definitely safe to say if Talia never sent him to meet his dad she would’ve kept training him to carry out Assassinations for the League of Shadows
@@markissacs7784 thats the case sure but if she did that im sure damien wouldve killed his new faather and find resolve out of the murder or his father wouldve given him resolve
For people saying batman made their lives hard. damian joins ras al ghul, nightwing becomes insane, stephanie betrays her team, jason todd starts losing races and starts stealing cars and gets arrested
Man I feel really bad for the main universe Jason Todd now because if he never met Batman he'd end up with such a great life but in the Maine University gets tortured almost dying to the joker and then coming back as a vigilante who wants to kill Batman just because Batman was unable to save him at the time
Nope, actualy Tim didn't need a Batman to became a hero, he use his intelec to discover Batman real identity, steal most of the money from Penguin and use it to atract Bruce so became a hero, diferent from others Tim choose this life, Jason and Dick has kids without parents, and Damian and Bruce are bloodfamily, so without Batman Tim would still choose be a hero
In the full version they actually used a virtual reality head set to see what would happen but they end horribly so batman lied to them that they will end horribly so they will stay with him
@@ogiebear8484 Not to mention a lot of this doesn’t make sense taking account their origins and personalities. For instance how the hell does Damian not lead the league since he’s been raised and trained by them by birth?
@@lordescanor1365 exactly, somebody with a brain finally. It contradicts the origins and canon backstories of the characters, seemingly just to appease Batman haters or people who want sunshine and rainbow DC
@@thedarklightskin It’s not that simple considering the brainwashing involved. In real life some Afghan children under the grip of the taliban are taught at a young age to hate America and believe that suicide bombing are heroic, apparently some kids grow up under this mindset. Damian being under the influence of the league at birth would have never had a chance
Being of Al Ghul blood, how on earth would Damien not be approached by the League of Shadows, kidnapped, and brain washed? At some point Batman would inevitably get involved.

@@alexrecrem9094 Yeah and the fact that this all happened in a simulation base on the data made by Batman, who thought they would live these type lives if they never met him. A villain used these data to put them in in the simulation to turn on him.
Whoever posted this video either hates Batman, doesn’t read comics and do his research ever, or just enjoys manipulating people. These are depictions of what BATMAN thinks would happen if he wasn’t in their lives. Also each one of their lives would turn sour and have a bad ending, the point being made in the comic was that Batman helps them and they help him cause everyone falls eventually.
Even from a Batman perspective, this is REALLY off. Without him interfering in their lives, Dick would have just died because he was a 9 year old trying to take down someone in the mob. Jason would have gone the way of the many unfortunate and destitute people in Crime Alley. Damian would never have wanted to nor been allowed to leave the League of Assassins/Shadows. Not to mention he wouldn't have been born. Tim and Stephanie are a lot more open ended. Tim would probably grow up a thoroughly miserable person from an unloved household, and without his night photography hobby, there's not a lot in the way of joy in his life. Stephanie I believe was reasonably old enough at the start and had an incompetent enough villain in Cluemaster that she may have been able to enter crime fighting without Bruce. Batman is justa consistently horrible judge of character lol.

Honestly I don’t think these would work. Dick - he would become another Batman. The entire point of Bruce taking him in is to stop him from becoming another tortured soul. Jason - probably die on the streets. Tim - this one I kinda agree on, though he’d probably build the tech rather than design the games themselves Damian - he’d just stay with the league
