Just subbed to your channel you really inspire me and I'm creating my own pokemon region with my friend too and you've given me a few ideas. I really like the calftus from your other region but I still wouldn't be able to decide which starter to pick I love them all!! Oh BTW have you created an actual game of it because if you have I would love to play it.
so its just a femboy/tomboy then I would like to apologise for this comment. I don't rember saying this at all, but most likely It was 3 in the morning and I was completely and utterly brain dead. It seems I didn't even read the message properly, and simply spewed out what I had been thinking of (which was being a femboy) and shoved the concepts of what I had read with what I was thinking like an ape trying to shove the square block in the circle. I apologise for any braincells lost, and no, I'm not paying for damages. chao
This would be a great idea for a new set of Pokémon in gen 10. Genetic engineering has been a thing in the Pokémon universe for years, so I can imagine a big company making hybrid Pokémon to sell to trainers. Kind of like designer dog breeds in our world, but with more science.
Ehhhh. That would like… RUIN breeding. Because then you would be forced to get 2 of the same type. If there was an item to make fusion, maybe? But eh, that would be easy to forget.
@@Jw87563 Well, if this was the case, not only would every Pokémon need a fusion. Which is: around 16000 Pokémon or so. And also, the only way to do breeding would be to find two of the same Pokémon. Which is annoying.
@RecoridoLol You could limit what hybrids would exist in-game. I wouldn't ask GF to go Infinite Fusion with hybrids. That would be insane. Also, why would you have to catch two of every mon just to breed? I was just thinking that a big corporation could mix different genes together to get hybrids since hybrids don't naturally occur (they always take after the mother or the non-ditto parent). I would assume if this happened in the games, breeding would work as normal.
These need to happen. You do get Ligers, Mules and multiple hybridised breeds of dogs and cats after all. Maybe Mudbray and Galarian Ponyta can make a Rapidash/Mudbray hybrid called ‘Mulicorn’, which would be Ground/Fairy type.
sadly dog breeds come with many health issues. Just looking at a pug makes me sad knowing their hearts are more vulnerable to health problems. While other hybrid breeds can't keep on breeding due to some genetic disorder.
Maybe they could make a gimmick out of this like they did with regional pokemon but even if they don’t do that I would love to see just one pokemon line be created this way. They just add two different lines of pokemon and then a secret hybrid line you get from breeding the two
I think it is possible that we get this concept in games. Actually we already have it with Manaphy, Ditto and Phione. Pokemons gave as many more biological concepts in few last years - Divergent evolution(regional forms)and convergent evolution. Hybrid pokemons seem like fun new gimmick of geting new pokemon and giving attention to older ones. Maybe it could be like, that only pokemon from diffrent egg groups can have hybrid egg and hybrid pokemon are in undiscoverd egg group. Reference to cross species breeding often resulting in infertile offsprings.
I think it'd probably have to be specific pokemon because they'd have to make a limited number of hybrid pokemon. There'd probably be some new item as well that one of the parents would have to hold, so you could still breed for the original. And yeah, theyd probably be undiscovered as well. Which as you said, would be a reference to real life and would also explain in lore why they haven't been seen in the wild before. Basically new baby pokemon, but capable.
This should be a feature in the games where if you breed 2 specifiic pokemon there is a low chance that the result will be a hybrid, but it would only work for selected pokemon, like regional forms or megas, because otherwise it would be impossible to make
Ever since the breeding function was introduced, I have always wanted something like that. I really have an example. Would be anything combined with Eevee having a small chance to be half EV or all kinds of different Magikarp
Ok seriously dude u make better pokemon names, ideas and awesome looking forms than wat the pokemon company does these days🤯 they should freaking hire u
Give an example of a modern gamefreak Pokémon design that is genuinely loved by the mass that is somehow "worse" than all pragmagik's ideas. You gen 4 cynicism (gen wunnuh)
@Rayyan in south park🇺🇦 I'm talking about scarlet and violet some forms r good some don't seem great like meowscarade y did they have to go two legs instead of four I still use him but design could be better and dude I love pokemon I'm just saying the guys designs r awesome looking is that a bad thing to say 🤷♀️
The only two problems with this is that Nidoqueen can't breed (with anything), and also that Sinistea is genderless, meaning it can only breed with Ditto. Otherwise, the Fakemon themselves look amazing.
Imagine if this happens with legendaries: Groudon+Kyogre: Kyodon Zekrom+Reshiram: Zekresh Ho-Oh+Lugia: Lugioh Mew+Mewtwo: Mewt... just Mewt. Yeah...struggled with the last one 😅
Gen 5 was doing convergent/regional pokemon way before it became a thing, its so evident that most the unova dex was the kanto dex updated to modern American themes
Pengwift looks like a pre-evo of both Delibird and Eiscue that evolves into one or the other under certain conditions (special stone, specific moves known, environment, friendship level, etc).
