Here is how I think Tsunami could have survived . The statue didn’t kill the eggs instantly after the were laid so webs could have stolen her in between the time tsunami egg was laid I loved how you added the sea sounds to the story these what ifs keep getting better and better. I have an idea for a what if. There's this one point where Qibli asked Turtle to make him an animus. What if turtle had accepted? I think it would be a fun story thanks to the fact that when Darkstalker and Qibli had this sort of final confrontation Darkstalker outright says "You have the brains to be a great animus dragon, but Turtle has the power instead." It would be interesting to see what he does with it.
Woah, these what if's just keep getting better! You nailed the posture, colors, and shading for this piece. I kind of wanna suggest a couple what ifs: What if Gill got rescued from the Queen Scarlet's palace ? What if Sunny was Cobra's daughter instead ? What if Qibli accepted Darkstalker's magic (But didn't do evil things) And finally, What if Clay was a murderous dragon that Kestrel wanted him to be ?
Quite an excellent what if you got here. Also, an interesting pair of what if I’ve got are; What if Icicle went with Hailstorm taking Winter on a trip to get him a pet scavenger and What if Winter was taken instead of Hailstorm. It would be interesting to see how Icicle is for these since while she has a resentment towards Winter, seeing him as the reason Hailstorm got captured, she has an underlying love and respect that she is unable to get rid of.
YO I LOVED THIS! I love how instead of going with a more “easy” route of having her grow up as a royal you went a completely different way so that it was even more interesting and we still got the tsunami we all know and love!
Here's an idea: What if Morrowseer survived the volcano and met moon? I feel like some people forgot that moonwatcher was his daughter, so it would be fun to see how the dragonets take to her and what they feel when she's at Jade Mountain.

I loved this 'What If'! You took a really creative turn with Shark. You really add a lot with the shadows and lighting, and it makes the artwork so much better. Saw this idea in the comments: What If a Rainwing found Moon's egg? It could be such an interesting story and I would love to see you try it! Another idea: What If Peril and Sky were the prophecy dragonets? So, one of them grew up as a 'real' dragonet of destiny, and the other grew up as a 'false' dragonet. (I know they hatched a couple of years before the Brightest Night, but this is a scenario where they hatched on the Brightest Night)

When Darkstalker rose from the mountain, Turtle hadn’t been prepared. He had never thought that simply burning the scroll would set *this* in motion. He briefly thought about all the magical, fictional stories Coral had read to him, or he had read himself. He’d even written a couple, his words flowing freely like the waves. All those times he’d wished he could be in a story like that, he’d wanted to be the hero. But now that it was real? Now that he could see *giant* wings stretching out, almost blotting out the sun? All that failed. He couldn’t even think, couldn’t move. He just stood transfixed, eyes wide and staring, seeing only Darkstalker. The massive hybrid’s eyes opened, scanning the Jade Winglet with interest. It was the first light he’d seen in millennia, after all. And then he saw it. A tiny seawing with green scales. Darkstalker felt rage course throughout his entire body, every scale threatening to burst. “FATHOM!” He roared, harsh words echoing against the mountain itself. He felt his own ears ring, knew that he should calm down, but *Darkstalker saw red.* He wanted blood, and by the three moons, he would not stop until that wretched animus was dead, and until nothing was in his way! Turtle yelped, feeling himself being lifted off the ground. Darkstalker only smiled as the pathetic seawing flailed around in his grip. “I- I didn’t do anything wrong! Let me down!”, he pleaded, which succeeded in nothing more than further heightening the ancient nightmare dragon’s rage. Brilliant job, Turtle. Now he was sure he was going to die. This was nothing like the stories, where the hero could always win through the power of friendship alone. Now, he stared at his friends, who watched with their eyes fixed on the two Animi. Winter’s, Kinkajou’s and Peril’s eyes looked oddly.. glazed, he noted silently. He could only assume they were under the effects of a spell, because Qibli was yelling instructions at Turtle. Most of them were carried away on the wind, but with his ears strained, he heard one sentence. And that was all he needed. “Make yourself immune to animus, and-“ The thought ran through his head, fast as lightning. It was that simple. He just thought, and it was true. For a split second, he contemplated what he could do with that. But- he had to stay focused. He stared into Darkstalker’s eyes. Turtle felt a sickening jolt of pain as the talon around his body tightened. His lungs were being compressed. He knew that because of how hard it was to breathe. One more time, it tightened, and the seawing’s vision went black.
This is soooo cool! At first I thought Webs would take Tsunami as his own but no. It was Shark! It flows so well and I think Tsunami would have done better with Shark. I just love the background! I can never draw ocean backgrounds lol. Tsunami seems more friendly than she was in the first and second arc with getting raised by Shark and not Kestrel. Anyways this was absolutely epic!! :00 ❤❤❤
I have an idea i’ve wanted for a while. What if winter was captured and turned into pyrite instead of hailstorm? Whould hailstorm try to find winter? Or stay in the ice kingdom out of fear or pressure from his parents if he dropped the rank? Whould icicle even care..? Probably not. Whould winters friends find out? Whould they try to rescue them? Could they possible succeed? If not.. what whould happen with one of the jade winglet missing?
That was awesome! I think the only thing you were missing was tsunamis sassy-ness. I love the innocence of the story! I wonder how, in this way, she find out about whirlpool. You made this really well!
Consider: what if Clearsight had been gravid with Darkstalker’s dragonets when she went to Pantala, resulting in animus HiveWings? Very specifically I’d like to know what Clearsight would’ve told them about their father, since they were so different from the LeafWings and BeetleWings. (To me, it doesn’t make sense for an entire new tribe to have been born from Clearsight; wouldn’t they have just bred back into the BeetleWings? Having more NightWings to make more HiveWings would make more sense.) How would it have changed the course of Pantala’s history, if one of Clearsight’s first dragonets foresaw Wasp’s attempt at takeover? On an extension of that: What if HiveWings had future sight/mind reading abilities? I imagine that these would have been rediscovered after the events of book 15, since the HiveWing eggs wouldn’t have been exposed to moonlight in the hatcheries. Maybe it would be Blue and Cricket’s dragonet(s). What if Darkstalker had actually gone to Pantala in search of Clearsight’s grave to bring her back to life? How would he have reacted to Clearsight being seen as almost a deity and to how Queen Wasp twisted and lied about his beloved’s words?
I think this is one of your best what ifs! Tsunami is so sweet with riptide and I actually makes me appreciate the ship and all of its cuteness. But I feel like some things could go wrong with the other dragonets which could cause a lot of drama. Think of this. All of the dragonets now are just plain dragons in they’re tribe but, the false dragonets are now saving the world what if the real dragonets actually met each other as a conclusion to this series and then you go around with the jade wing and how they’re life would be if they grew up without going to jade mountain and then they meet each other! I also think you portray stuff like this wonderfully and I hope you continue! Thank you for doing this and have a great day/night!

Here's mine! What if Peril challenged Scarlet for the throne instead of Ruby? And for those of you thinking, "Peril isn't royal, she can't do that!" Darkstalker tried to become king of the Nightwings twice, yet he had no Nightwing royal blood. Maybe Chameleon could enchant Peril to only have firescales when she wanted to or needed to.

WHAT IF IDEAS: What if Darkstalker never killed arctic? (Probably doing something he said in book 10, "I could have fixed the wounds to his soul. It's what I should have done.") What if Qibli said yes? (You may have done this already and if you have, part 2 would be cool or another AU. BTW this is the animus offer) What if Qibli wasn't sold to Thorn? (Pretty straight forward.) What if Darkstalker didn't eat the strawberry? (Probably seeing something about his own magic. Maybe he still was cautios and just didn't eat it.) What if Fathom died in the massacure? (IDK how to eleborate) What if Turtle wanted the Seawing throne? (Basically Dragonsheeps theory she claimed to have whilst reading book 6. Basically, him being shy was due to he wanted to be King) What if Orca won? (Pretty straight forward TBH) What if Turtle said yes? (And made QIbli and Animus) What if Queen Sequoia gave the throne to Wasp? What if Monarch never gave the throne to Wasp? What if a rainwing found moon? I may have more to add in the future!
Another idea for how she could have lived while not being with the Talons of Peace: Her egg ends up alone. Webbs could have been noticed and chased- and he had to swim/fly over the edges of the Seawing territory and at some point, unknown to every dragon there, her egg could have been lost. No Shark and no Webbs to take her in. The lost princess story she always loves could, this time around, be about how a traitor stole the princess away and while she was lost to everyone for a while, found her way back home. Tsunami could have lived by the scales of her talon - maybe a Nightwing who defected from what is going on found her and took her to the rainforest to live a peaceful life until the other Dragonets of Destiny found her/she wanted more excitement. Maybe she swims far enough and is unknowingly chased far enough to meet the rainwings herself- possibly getting a few rambunctious Rainwings to join her on daring adventures. Either way, she would be unaware of her life as a princess, and would learn it via going to the Seawing kingdom once more. Or! Queen Coral could do what she did for Anemone, and Tsunami could also be enchanted to be an animus dragon, taking over Anemone place, sort of, in the story while also unforcentatly meaning that Anemone wouldn't be there either, unless Tsunami really didn't want to be Queen, and vowed to protect her egg like Auglet!
I really love this what it especially since tsunami is my second favorite dragonet of Destiny. I really love her character. For anyone reading this wondering what my first favorite dragonet of destiny, is its Starflight.

I'm so glad you thought of a way for Tsunami to survive and in an amazing story! also, just wondering, but if Tsunami was living underwater the whole time, how does she know how to talk on land? unless she's just using aquatic on land. guess Whirlpool needs to teach her how to talk... also, here's some what if suggestions. what if Sunny and Starflight swapped roles (like what if Sunny was the pure NightWing and Starflight was the hybrid. the names would be a little confusing though...) what if sunny was more obviously half a NightWing, what if Queen Oasis hadn't died, what if the dragonets of destiny grew up somewhere other than under a cave (like how would they be different if they didn't feel so trapped all the time and their powers were accessible earlier, like Glory's venom and Clay's fireproof scales.) what if Jerboa III didn't get rid of animus magic, what if Sky and Peril swapped roles (like Peril was the no fire who grew up with wren and Sky was Queen Scarlet's champion, but again the names would be confusing.) what if Princess Tourmaline challenged Queen Scarlet for the throne before she became Princess Ruby, and what if I stop? Okay, that last one might be getting old...
These stories and artworks are awesome! I have another idea for a what if: What if Morrowseer took the dragonets of Destiny to the NightWing island? He could have come when they were SUPER young or something? Plus I think that the art would be really nice, all the dragonets against the NightWing volcano. I dunno, just throwing it out there!
Wasn’t Gill, Tsunami’s dad, commander at the beginning? He had only been captured a few weeks or so when Tsunami and the other dragonets arrived. Idk I just remember reading somewhere he was the commander.

Great video love your art style, here’s some ideas for your what if series Starflight grew up with the nightwings, what if the rain wings fought in the war of sandwing succession (if the rain wings fought in scarlet’s arena + if the war didn’t end) and what if one of the three sandwing sisters became queen.?
Could you PLEASE try "What If Deathbringer got captured on his first mission", but without him one of the Sandwing princesses win before the dragonets come along. This would be SO COOL.
Ok I know I already left a comment with some of my own what-if questions but now I have more: What if the dragonets of Flamesilks grew up in the Flamesilk cavern? And if they turned out to not be Flamesilks they would do other things (there’s a mention or two about normal SilkWings working in the Flamesilk cavern.) Specifically, how would it have influenced Blue’s view of the world? Would he still see the good in every dragon, or would he be a bit more jaded? What if there were other NightWing dragonets that grew up in the rainforest and maybe even hatched under at least one full moon? How would it have influenced Moon’s character, if she had actual friends at a young age and wasn’t all alone? What if Ochre really did hatch from a blood-red egg and he managed to save Viper? (For that we’d say there can be more than one blood egg at a time.) What if Queen Glacier hadn’t died of the Magic Plague but she still gave the throne to Snowfall because she was too weak to continue ruling? What if Jerboa III didn’t break animus magic? This ended up longer than I thought it would be so from now on I’m gonna start writing these down so I can shove them at you under a later what-if video
Hello Cyprus, I'm a big fan u draw rlly good! I was wondering i made tis dragon when I first started reading the series I was hoping u would draw it u can basically call it a challenge if you want! :) here is the description : 4 winged dragon, with a mix of hive wing and a sea wing looking snout, a curly longish horns, a mix of silk wing and leaf wing wings, her scales where kind of tringle and heart shaped, with the color variation of orchid and bright orange her eyes where a beautiful golden yellow, her wings would fade from orchid softly to a Azur blue, her psshion is flapping in the sky
I've been working on a what-if where wasp destroyed ALL the trees. This makes for some REALLY cool stuff. It follows Cricket as she tries to figure out what has happened to Pantala as she only knows a few small things from books. The hives and most structures are pretty loose in the ground and everything it hard to walk across or to build on. the ground, shores, water, and everything is kind of coated in ash, and due to air currents this gets in dragon's throats and eyes making conditions horrible to live. Rember how Cricket grew that tree? yeah thats her only hope for the land, and it follows her journey to try and revive a forest with one.. sad tree. Some extra stuff is that Wasp has lots of dragons in captivity, like leafwings which are used to grow her plants. If they refuse, she'll find a horrible gruesome way to die. Silkwings are forced to live off of purely scraps, of MEAT. There aren't many animals so breeders have taken over that to make meat and food. So animals are still around. During the rainy season, teh land FLOODS. like FLOODS. The hives are decaying due to the flooding, and the grass that had survived the removal of all the trees, died and dried out and was loosened out of the ground. HIVEWINGS are basically told by the leaders of their hive that this is how it is meant to be and that they couldn't be in a better place. Although any dragon who knows the truth, will try and spread it to dragonets, most teachers are familiar with this and books of this. Thats how Cricket discovered the truth. So, thats that. Silkwings almost starve, leafwings are being used for labor, and hivewings are the top, and are being gaslighted. HIVEWINGS. They are basically told by the leaders of their hive that this is how it is meant to be and that they couldn't be in a better place. Although any dragon who knows the truth, will try and spread it to dragonets, most teachers are familiar with this and books of this. Thats how Cricket discovered the truth. I'll post a link to the finished or unfished product on the fannon wings of fire wiki. It wont be proffesional and i'm trying my best. The writting is BOUND to have spelling errors, along with THIS comment, so please dont say anything. I'm not fixing it.
I absolutely LOVE this concept. Here's a small suggestion, um, WHAT IF Kestrel gave up Peril instead and ended up taking Sky with her. I feel like this would be a really interesting subject to write about c: P.S , Do what you would like to do as long as it's amazing!!!
I was rereading The Dragonet Prophecy, and i thought, "oh, what if, Glory got killed by the Guardians." I could easily see the other dragonets in shock and would want revenge, Webs perhaps being remorseful, and the other dragonets teaming up on the guardians and fighting them, possibly killing Kestrel in the process.
I thought of an a u and this is the basics of it after pushing sky into the river kestrel escapes with peril but dies of the results of the buns from carrying peril but manages to get her to the talons of peace .due to this being a year before the brightest night peril is made the Skywing false dragonet .I find it interesting to think about how growing up with viper, fatespeaker , squid and Ochre and knowing her but she was to blame for her mother's death would have affected peril
I came up with a cool idea, what if clearsight hadn't betrayed Darkstalker. I feel like this would change so much and honestly would be a neet plot twist. I also thought of one where Darkstalker had hatched whiteout instead of letting her wait. I feel like both of these would be so cool.

(since Hivewings are I believe descendants of Clearsight. if my memory serves me right) idea 5: what if Clearsight took Whiteout with her to Pantala?
