This time I took the vocal depths and injected some Type O Negative style into the iconic 'Tallica song 'Master Of Puppets'. So, what if Type O Negative really made this song? Well, take a listen to this version, as my imagination of the combo.

Someone at work was playing this in the office next door... I 'knew' it was TON but couldn't for the life of me figure out which song it was so I eventually gave up & asked "Okay you got me, what song is this?" & he tells me it's Master of Puppets... I was flawed! This deserves some kind of award it's so great! Love the video too - I imagine Denis with glowing green eyes like in the Black No. 1 video :)

A fan of TON since ‘the beginning’, I agree with an earlier commenter about ‘interchangeable’ segments. Kenny, Josh and Peter would’ve introduced more variation to avoid repeated sections from sounding too similar.

This is the best I’ve ever seen someone do a cover of TON’s style. I got emotional cuz it felt like it was a whole new Type O song that never got released. You just got Steele in your blood, man. Seriously you sound just like him, god tier stuff. Peter would be proud.

I started listening to TON since the bloody kisses album and they always been one of my top 5 fave bands ever, I was lucky enough to see them live in 2006 and I was so happy I got chills when I saw Peter waving his hand smiling to me when he saw me bowing to him, I literally cried when he died, his music helped me through hard times in my life, to know his music was important to other people makes me feel good for Peter's memory, Type O negative, one of the most underrated bands ever. Thank you for doing this, is very special.

Same impact. TON is the band I have listened to the more longer (with up and down). So many life moments are associated with one of their songs (beside my girlfriend's girlfriend, I wished :-D). It's also inspiraring now my own music. Never saw them live, it's generating so much frustrating to me.

I had the pleasure of meeting him and the band 3 times, the last time in Denver where I hung out with everyone for 3 hours while they drank the place dry. Peter was the nicest by far, and really cared about his performance and what we thought. Hell of a guy. I'm 6'1 215 and my hand disappeared in his when I shook it, like a damn bear paw.

There are so many ‘what if (insert band) wrote (insert song)’ videos on youtube. And most are, ok, for one listen. This however, is something else. Its a total reimagining. This is absolutely wonderful! Type O Negative was my favorite in high school and you captured them perfectly. Before I found them, I wanted to hear something that was a mixture of aggressive, shoegaze, gloomy, and somehow combined with the feeling of the autumn. I assumed that didn't exist until I heard "Love You To Death" when I was 15. Type O Negative were masters of making a song atmospheric and YOU did it perfectly. You did Peter's voice very well, but more importantly (to me at least) you gave it atmosphere. I love this. I hope you do more TON style covers. I loved how their covers were meant to sound like their own work. "Hey, Pete," "Cinnamon Girl," and "Summer Breeze" are great covers. I saw someone cover U2's "Pride (in the name of love)" and another person do "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry in the style of Type O Negative. They're both really good, but your voice is definitely the closest to Peter's voice.

I can say I miss the Type O Negative sound. You guys still rock after all these years. I remember seeing you guys for the first time in Baltimore at Hammerjacks and on Headbangers Ball. You guys did a great job. Imagine if Peter was doing this? Denis, thank you.
