What If Vegeta Spared Nappa? 

What if Vegeta sparred Nappa? Nappa would've become the best damn movie producer in the universe.

I think the issue in this scenario is Vegeta carrying Nappa to the battlefield just so he can watch. I can see Vegeta sparing Nappa, but he would more than likely just walk away and leave Nappa there.

I don't see Vegeta lugging Nappa with him as that would have made him vulnerable and the man a liability at the time. Most likely he would have just summoned the Pod to pick up Nappa like he did for himself and then meet up with him after his believed guaranteed victory.

I feel like he might leave him there tho I guess Krillin and Gohan would curb stomp his broke ass and end up killin him regardless which is kinda dark to think of lol

Highly doubt Vegeta would bring Nappa with him, he'd either leave Nappa where Goku dropped him, chuck him out of his site where Nappa might survive and possibly be seen by the fleeing Gohan and Krillin or just have his pod take him into orbit to wait.

There is absolutely no way that vegeta carried nappa to the next location.

I’m not sure about this theory from the beginning, The Kaioken attack goku used on Nappa broke his back, sure he could still go great ape but that’s still an immobilizing injury. The injuries goku and Gohan sustained were different, Goku was held in a technique that stop him from moving and electrocuted him, a technique with Training or this instance a transformation can be broken. And Gohan was just beaten really bad but he could still move all the way tho it would hurt him. In my opinion at the very least , Nappa would transform but he’d be a great ape on the ground. Only advantage that may give Vegeta is that the battlefield would have limited space for Goku to run. In addition it’s been shown in movies and the series, great apes still take injuries, Goku shot Vegeta in the eye and the scar stayed even when he went back to normal. Same thing happened to Bardock’s squad members shugesh when he got shot in the face during battle and woke up with the scar the next morning. Apologies for the whole exposition in a comment, it just didn’t seem right to me lolXD.

Its a shame Nappa died, his super saiyan would be so deadly. You'd never know if he was powered up or not

Most if not all of Qaaman's What ifs in the Saiyan Saga has turn out to be negative

I think you are overlooking the fact that Either Vegeta would have probably sent Nappa off planet, because he was too injured to help, or that Gohan and Krillin would have stayed because Nappa was there, and would probably cut his tail of they saw him transform. Or offed him in revenge while Goku and Vegeta fought.

Nappa is such an underrated character i swear (other then raditz)

I never thought about this, another fascinating scenario. One thing I do question is, would Vegeta really allow Nappa to help? Its been a long time since I watched this part of the story, but Vegeta in giant ape would probably not feel like he needs help against Goku. Therefore his Saiyan pride would not allow him to accept assistants from Nappa, regardless of Nappa's health status. This means Gohan and Krillin would likely have enough time to arrive before Goku dies. The only question left is if they would be able to cut both Nappa and Vegeta's tails. Also not sure how wounded Nappa would be after his giant ape form is over. If his wounds still stay at least partially healed then yeah the Z warriors are screwed.

Vegeta wouldn’t let Nappa fight with him as a great ape. As soon as Nappa tries to attack Goku, Vegeta would yell at him to get back because this is his battle.

IMO it’d make more sense for Vegeta to call the pod to Nappa. Makes him mobile and indirectly able to see power levels seemingly so he could approach the Goku vs. Vegeta fight. Eventually going ape, healing and destroying the z fighters. Unless you like the idea of Nappa in a pod flying around shooting mouth beams...Heh

Great watch. The only thing I don't agree with is Nappa being able to move after transforming. Unlike other characters who were able to move again, his spine was broken. Also, it's worth mentioning that Vegeta in his Ozaroo form would be stronger than every one in the Ginyu Force due to 10x boost. Though this likely wouldn't make much of a difference because Ginyu could switch bodies and Frieza would still be stronger.

I don't know about Goku being double crushed. Just because there are two apes there doesn't mean Goku can be crushed twice as fast, given that only one of them could be crushing him at a time.

Vegeta aint carrying Nappa to the battlefield, Nappa calls the space pod and escapes before Goku and Vegeta fight or before the fake moon comes out and nothing changes. But everything on Namek and afterwards does 👀

Man, I love how one change in the story more often then not leads to tragedy in the story. Qaaman came back and didn't miss a beat.

Only thing I'd say is Vegeta might not bother taking Nappa with him and just leave him broken on the first battlefield. Which leaves you with the questions: Would Krillan kill him? And would he be too far away to get the Osauru transformation? If he's spared and doesn't transform, the fight should happen just as before. Nappa joins Vegeta for the Namek arc, and the Z fighters go as usual too. Which leads to a longer "what if Nappa lived" scenario

If you could, you should change it to this scenario: after goku defeats nappa, vegeta still tries to kill him but goku stops this, only bringing nappa within an inch of his life. Now the rest of the saiyan saga remains the same except at the end, goku tries to rehabilitate nappa in the hospital, and brings him along with him on his own trip to namek.

Raditz and Nappa both should have been brought back. Both characters had so much potential and Nappa would have had a lot of Chemistry with most of the Z Fighters I bet

I can see two scenarios where Goku does not get killed the first scenario is when Nappa is being taken with Vegeta to the new Battlefield Krillin and Gohan follow them and Goku is able to get Gohan to focus on Nappa and Krillin is able to cut off nappa's tail the second is a time patroller is sent to help Goku in both scenarios Vegeta and Nappa get badly beaten and survive and Nappa get two Zenkai

What if Nappa was spared: "zfighters dies" Xenoverse 2: Are you sure about that

On Earth, Vegeta would call Nappa's pod in order for Nappa to leave in the first place. Vegeta would spare him but not carry him at all, like the proud warrior he is, so he would simply either call his pod or, walk away. Anyways, even if he did carry Nappa over, Vegeta's pride would NOT allow him to see Nappa fighting alongside him. Vegeta would want a fair fight even though he's enraged, we should remember now that he has a whopping 100.000+ power level he wouldn't simply care to even considering the fact "Goku or the other two can cut my tail, we should finish him off quickly." So, Nappa would be forced to watch the fight. If Gohan and Krillin arrived there in this scenario, Nappa would try to enjoy his time with them, but i assume they'd jump around as much as Goku did with Vegeta and would use the solar flare, which would cause Yajirobe to toughen up, jump out and cut Nappa's tail. That means Nappa is a normal saiyan now, but Vegeta has Goku almost dead OR dead. There's no way Goku can fight, so i immediately assume that while Yajirobe and Gohan try to pummel Nappa (in which i think they could succeed because he could fairly be injured or even still crippled) Krillin would try to throw a disk at Vegeta. Vegeta would obviously dodge but at that point when he's arriving Nappa is again out of the fight and now the trio wants to fight him off. Scenario A would go off as the one where Nappa leaves Earth, as stated previously, which causes a normal Namek trip but with Nappa on the mix, Scenario B Vegeta killing all of Earth's defenders, destroying Earth and then we get the same result as in Namek of this video, Scenario C, Somehow due to plot armor the combined efforts of Yajirobe and Krillin would give enough time and desperation for Gohan to turn Great Ape, although Gohan would be a rampaging ape with a lower power level than Vegeta he would still be a fighter that would distract Vegeta enough for Yajirobe or Krillin to cut his tail, and then we get the same result of the final fight with everyone there living, Vegeta getting hit with the spirit bomb blabl.. average trip to Namek like in our story but now there's Nappa in the mix of the Namek saga, like option A, but i think Nappa would have, maybe, a bigger zenkai, or either he would die of his injuries on his way to healing pod. I assume he survives in order to fit with Scenario A, but eehh, anyways, your decisions
