I also think another reason why they would want to stay fused is due to the fact that since vegetto had been fused for so long. His mind should had been a sync of goku and vegeta's minds, having the two kinda split could had unquantified effects to each of their states of mind. I like it. I was thinking having all 3 characters at once. Goku and Vegeta gets their bodies back but somehow use the super dragon balls to make vegetto exist without the need of potara. I can see vegetto being something like Toppo and be a God of Destruction candidate.

Alexander Mandzi I agree mostly, but I think Goku and Vegeta would be more willing to fuse rather than actually fuse. The both of them now knowing that the fusion can be reversed due to too much power would probably lead them to agree on becoming stronger as individuals and only being united when in need of be stronger.

Taking into consideration the next arc, it's very likely that Vegetto will return to fight Merged Zamasu.

Maxi Iroh right but it could be an interesting twist if to get Vegito back they use the dragon balls to wish that they were fused again. This would make it so that no potara would stand in their way.

Finally someone else gets it. The Vegito in this scenario was supposed to follow the Kai rules. The defusion from the earrings being destroyed or removed is a mortal rule for them. So he shouldn't have defused.

Stryzzar the fusion between Kai’s is permanent that’s why he never split. Even though in this scenario the fusion is permanent for mortals too, I’m guessing since Kai’s are divine beings it remains the same for them.

It would still be a fight for survival and it would be unlikely they'd win any time soon. Even though the future Androids were stated to be weaker, they made quick work of Ssj Vegeta, so having Goku as well wouldn't actually make that much of a difference. Remember, they had no idea about the Androids and couldn't prepare, they'd still have no idea and be suitably weak compared to them. If Goku can at least save everybody with Instant Transmission, there's a good chance he could get them to train in seclusion, but it's hard to see how that would help considering Future Gohan had over a decade of extra fighting experience and still couldn't win. It doesn't look like Kami and Korin lived long in this timeline so the HBTC may be out of the question, otherwise it would have been used right away. The only victory condition here would have to be Goku pushing Gohan into Ssj2 years earlier than he was meant to, which is risky and may not work out.

Since Gohan doesn't have god ki, I don't think he could do rosé, it would have to be some sort of altered mystic form.

Satsaru Gohan black would still be able to achieve the form as rosé is just achieved by a saiyan who is a god himself so all it’d take is for Zamasu to have swapped with gohan. And switching zamasus motivations and basing them around trunks interfering with the timeline could have lead to zamasu collecting the dragon balls and switching bodies with future gohan as goku would be dead and not the strongest saiyan in this timeline

pokechatter I've been headcanoning for an while that Vegito would end up having two children instead of Vegeta's one. Vegito would either have twins from an potara fusion of Bulma & Chichi, or Vegito would have one simultaneously with Chichi & Bulma. Their children would be named Bra & Eschalot, Bra would be born from Bulma obviously, and Chichi's daughter would be named Eschalot because Vegeta came up with that name in Super but never had the chance to pass on that name in acknowledgment of his Saiyan heritage, on top of that Eschalot/Esharotto is distinctly similar to Goku's saiyan name, Kakarot/Kakarotto. I see what Vegeta was doing, and it's honestly adorable, he wanted to honor his greatest rival, and that's honestly great Goku X Vegeta X Bulma X Chichi shipping material in my opinion. Chichi is the type who would agree to that, and Goku got to name their first kid Gohan, I think Bulma and Chichi would easily consent to Vegito being able to name her Eschalot.

Considering that Jiren was Bodying Blue kaioken times 20 and Bluevolution Bejita at the same time... I doubt it. Even then when he released his full power, he didn't seem to be trying terribly hard and wasn't fased by anything they really did. He blocked their combined strongest attacks with just his _ambient aura_ I don't think it would take MUI, but maybe omen or using kaioken on top of blue evolution.

Probably not. Jiren was very easily overwhelming goku, vegeta, and 17 at the same time for me to believe that vegito could beat Jiren at this point. Especially since goku and vegeta got significantly more powerful between the u6 tournament and the top.

Petar Nikolić They wouldn't have defused from that. The whole reason they stayed fused in this series was because the Kai rules applied to mortals. Them defusing from the earrings being removed from the equation is one of the mortal rules.

Shade Dias He certainly was as forgetful as Toriyama with this one. If the earrings worked exactly the same as they did for the Kais (which is the premise for this specific series) them being destroyed wouldn't have caused a defusion.

Pun-isher if Goku didn't land on earth then Grandpa Gohan would still be alive, Krillin would be Roshis only student at first. The 21st Tenkaichi Budokai would end the same but the final would've been Krillin vs Jackie Chun. Commander Red might get his wish to be taller because Krillin wasn't to interested in adventuring. The 22nd Budokai would be interesting since Goku wouldn't have been around to kill Tao, Tien might be more receptive to Roshis be a good guy talk and beat Krillin in the final. As for the Piccolo Daimaou arc I'm not sure if Roshi can contact Gohan maybe the 2 could do a Mafuba and trap Piccolo again but Krillin might still have died. Also we wouldn't have Piccolo Jr. So the 23rd Budokai would probably end with Tien winning again or if Krillin has main character status he would finally win.
