In my eyes, the boss wasn’t the magician. It was the HAT. The HAT got corrupted and pulled a magician out of itself.

I like the whole design with the tophat and playing cards. It ironically reminds me of Wicked K, from the Darksiders series. He wears a tophat as well, and I believe a lot of his attacks involved card tricks. It was a pretty cool boss.

Man the concept of the cards changing symbols to show which one is the safe spot is really cool. Would be even better if it was randomized.

Noticed something: The Wicked boss has no arms in the trailer, but now he has arms! How nice to give him limbs :D But... He loses his limbs at the end... Oh...

This ABSOLUTELY would have worked as a boss level. I actually found myself more than once trying to quickly find an O card when there weren't any.

This is a certified hood classic. The song is an absolute banger, the animation is 20/10, and the character design is iconic.

The creativity on display here is astounding, I loved the two different types of cards gimmick, particularly when there was three on screen and only one was safe. Phenomenal job and I eagerly await more of these

KofiKrumble, here are some descriptions of the bosses: Milky Ways: The boss is a large octagon with red evil eyes! He has multiple rings constantly spinning together. The boss also has a large circle around him made with several planets. His attacks are mainly based around the planets around him: Mercury smashes the ground creating a shockwave, Venus summons in geysers, Earth gets a sword and swings it before destroying it creating another shockwave, Mars creates a large sandstorm, Jupiter explodes into several different pieces before those pieces explode into smaller pieces etc... , Saturn attacks using its rings where the cube needs to dash over them, Uranus summons ice obstacles and Neptune dashes at you while crashing at the wall to create shockwaves. It takes 4 crashes for Neptune to explode into several gases that float around freely. The boss summons The Sun which can attack using: lasers, its rays and can make a quarter of the level pink. The Sun can also grow in size making it claustrophobic for the cube. The main boss can also turn into a black hole and will start pulling you in. Sevcon: The boss is first a small circle first firing small circles which then explode. The boss gets bigger and bigger firing much bigger circles which explode into smaller circles and then they explode into much smaller circles etc... The boss then grows an eye made out of a semi-circle and then some arms made out of circles. The boss then attacks with: rings made out of circles, worms made out of circles, circular bombs, circles which cause shockwaves, create clones which attack you with circles, lasers made out of circles, spinning around into a 'CIRCLE-NADO!!!' and more! At the end, the boss explodes and random circles fire out constantly until the player hits the final checkpoint. Cascade: The boss level starts with a couple of ocean waves rising up along with clouds and the sun. The clouds start attacking by raining down one at a time along with the sun randomly shooting out its rays. The clouds and sun now attack more now as a shark fin starts to emerge from the water swimming slowly around but gradually builds up speed until fully emerging out of the ocean. The boss has evil eyes with large, spiky teeth. He even has small scars on him as though he got into a rough fight. The shark jumps in and out of the water energetically creating large shockwaves. He also submerges into the water and attempts to bite the cube. He attacks using tridents as well. At the end, his mouth widens out and he starts to suck you in. You have to dash away while dodging several fish, tridents and more! Part 2 with: Cheat Codes, Clash, Lunar Whale and Unlocked!

I really love the concept of the O "cards" misfiring to allow a safe zone but with the pace/density of the obstacles, it seems almost impossible to react to without memorization. But DAMN, is this nice to watch.

I love how intense this is....the fact that should this be a real battle you need to react quickly to find the area with no pink before the screen just gets flooded with it. This would be a battle that really test your reaction speed

This is REALLY good, so many JSAB animations don’t capture the bouncy and dynamic feel of the real game (which is understandable,) but this NAILED it and blew all my expectations out of the water!!! Amazing work OP!!

It may be buried somewhere here, but I haven't seen comments on how creative this is with the song! It's "wicked" and it makes sense that it's full of tricks when trying to avoid everything! If you're not careful, you could end up in pieces! Love the concept for this song!

My only problem is that the attack difficulty fluctuates from near impossible to really easy. Some of the attack need easier tells while others need the hitboxes to fill more space. Otherwise I see this as great.
