Got a feeling Yoda caught on to how Anakin needed more help with his situation then he let’s on, now he’s stepping in and eventually they figured out Palpatine is Sidious. Leading to the thumbnail image scene.
@locoarticwolf218 Well, This is the essence of Yoda, actually would have found a way out of the situation if Anakin had told him the truth. As for Mace, he knew that Anakin was because of his hot-temper. And impulsivity can be not only very unpredictable but, also very predictable. If Anakin goes into a rage and completely loses control then, Mace won't know what to expect from him in that state? On the other hand, Mace knows that Anakin is very predictable because, he knows that Anakin can be easily made to completely lose self-control due to the fact that he has a very hot-temper. And impulsivity. Not to mention, that Mace sensed Anakin’s emotional instability, which he even directly said to Anakin, because, psychologically Anakin really was not ready to fight Palpatine. For example, Anakin's Hot-Temper. And Anakin's impulsiveness when he was 19 years old almost became a good reason for the Obi-Wan 's Death because, Obi-Wan was forced to fight alone with Dooku on Geonosis. And get a serious wound in the leg. And in the hand. Although, Obi-Wan initially expected that he would fight against Dooku with Anakin on Geonosis because,he knew that he could not cope with Dooku alone. And Anakin was just lucky to come to consciousness in time to save Obi-Wan when Dooku on Geonosis was about to kill him with the Red Lightsaber. So Mace could remember this. And decide that the best solution would be to entrust Anakin with protection. And saving the Jedi who, were in The Jedi Temple in case Mace. And Other Jedi Council members will be killed by Palpatine in battle. This mean that Anakin is only useful when he's not hot-tempered. And not impulsive but, if he is hot-tempered. And is impulsive then, he is vulnerable. And predictable that it means that Mace will definitely have absolutely no benefit from him in the battle with Palpatine.
It def could've been written better. Like palps using a bunch of other senators and etc government personnel as an excuse- like have a button on his desk to call in those ppl to ask for his help in something, making it all too awkward for Jedi to confront him immediately. As the supreme chancellor, I'm sure he ought to have something like that set up to get out of things, esp when combined with needing to do so for sith reasons. And why isn't there a secretary that ppl have to get past to see the chancellor? One who tells palps "the Jedi are here to see you" yk?
Good story but I doubt Maul would’ve ever rejoined Sidious. By that point Sidious was responsible for killing Maul’s brother and mother and after Dooku’s death Maul understood that Dooku was just Sidious’s pawn much like himself. Maul would definitely know he would just be used again.
What if Dooku stole the blood sample that Qui-Gon got from Anakin and used that instead of Jango Fett's DNA as the basis of the clone army, but didn't tell Sidious of the change.
@@michaelkornhoff6865 He left just after Qui-Gon's funeral. While the Jedi Council traveled to Naboo for the ceremony, Dooku left the order to join Sidious. Yaddle gave up her seat on the Council and followed Dooku to the Industrial sector on Coruscant, where he murdered Yaddle to prove his loyalty to Sidious and become his apprentice to replace Maul

The 40 years time jump was quite unexpected, but welcomed. It allowed the characters to develop a lot off-screem, which left the video not too long (even though it's still 50min long) and I loved it. I'll add that I'd probably still love a 4h cut where we see the 40 years long evolution. But I get why you made the choice and it's better for people who wouldn't watch a 4h long What If video. As I mentioned on other videos, my favorite Star Wars What Ifs are those in which Anakin stays a hero and gets a happy ending. In this one he ultimately lost Padme, but didn't succomb completely to the Dark Side and worked to make things right in the galaxy. It's bittersweet, but I still love it. It's incredible how little changes in decisions made by a few characters change everything, especially when it comes to Anakin. Hence why I love these. It's almost luck that allowed Anakin to give himself to Sidious, and it seems that in most timelines he stays true to himself and keep himself away from the Dark path. At least that's why I see from the majority of these Prequel Era What Ifs. Anyways, thank you for giving us this great video. Cheers from France! 🍻
The timeskip writing mirroring the beginning was really cool! I personally loved the moment where Yoda was listening to Anakin and was focusing on his speech patterns/mannerisms passed down through the lineage, that was done really beautifully

There were a couple of spots where I thought I was about to not be into your story here. But you really went and ran and took this thing to 11. This is one of your best stories you’ve done in quite a while. All of your stuff is very quality, but this one’s very reminiscent of some of your older long form Big stories. Love your stuff!!!❤❤
Great story. Allowing Yoda's connection to the force to reveal somethings without revelaing too much. One little complaint. I think a frontal groud assualt would be needed to take the temple down, short of a orbital bombardment the Jedi Temple wouldn't crumble without a surprise assualt led by a Jedi or Orbital attack. Since it was there since the time of the Sith and greater threats to the old republic. Love the ending with Anakin becoming the Grand Master of the smaller Order.
Great story, all the twists caused by the orders that were executed and how the Order being pro active right after keep Palpatine from winning then was kind of surprising. Having Anakin become Grandmaster and the parallels between him and Yoda was delightful to see and so was seeing what this recovered Order looks like. Nice to see Talon make an appearance, and Palpatine's ultimate fate was quite fitting. What if Duchess Satine raised Anakin?
It's always fun to see Anakin and Yoda fight together. I wish their relationship could have been explored more as the Chosen One and the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order.
Oh man! Kirak Infil'a mentioned! That's a rare Jedi to see in these videos! He came dangerously close to finishing Vader and a very overlooked Jedi. On that note, here is a what if, What if Dooku had went with Kirak on his Barish Vow?
What if Anakin fell in love with Cordé? In this one Padme stays on the ship in Tattoine and Cordé accompanies the jedi so she becomes the “angel” to Anakin… Same way as in AOTC Cordé would die protecting Padmé causing Anakin to grow resentment toward her which Palpatine takes full advantage of think can be an interesting story
What if Prime Luke (either Legends, or just as we see him in Mandolorian) was sent back in time just before the end of the clone wars? Specifically that time frame to avoid any paradoxes regarding his birth I feel he could have some unique insight the council could learn from, and his unique/unconventional fighting style would be interesting for people like Sidious/Dooku/Maul to deal with
I saw this idea once here but what if the citadel strike team remained in carbonite due to a malfunction and was only released till after the rise of the Empire.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Yoda not leaving Anakin before Order 66 getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that Yoda genuinely cares for Anakin and wants to see him succeed. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

What if obi wan did not kill grievous but only incapacitated him in revenge of the sith (like if obi wan cut off all of his arms and legs and obi wan wore him like a back pack to try to bring him back to the republic) and perhaps took grievous with him after the war. Just an interesting one that I thought of and I think you will do that what if very well.
What if sidious actually cared about maul? (Maybe as in, sidious treated AND considered maul his son, and maul thought of palps as his father or something like that)

Anakin being sent to Kashyyk would only work in what if scenarios. Because in timeline, he was already assigned a mission, to spy on the chancellor and report his dealings to the council, hence why they didn't send Anakin to Utapau to assist Obi-Wan, which we all know would have been the best thing for Anakin
@bigwsly he already is in actual time line he single handedly takes down the Jedi order killing several council members and younglings. His son is the chosen one. Also the Will's won't completely let the sith take complete control because the sith use the dark side of the force in a way that ends up permanently causing damage to the force. The sith aren't natural. The night sister's are the only natural way to use the dark side of the force with out causing permanent damage that the Will's then have to correct.
