How does the money go up by 14k/14% in the first year, then 9 years later once you hit year 10 the money hasn’t even doubled, then once you go another 10 years the money goes up by 5x, then another 10 years go by and it only goes up 3x. So firstly even if in the first 10 years it didn’t compound at all and just went up by 14 k every year like you said it did in the first year, that would be 240k by year 10 not something close to 190k. Secondly, If you are looking at a constant compounding interest rate the money should go up by the same x every 10 years, that should not change. So if it goes up by 2x in the first 10 years then the next ten years it will then be 2x again, and after another 10 years it will be 2x again. So for example, if you started at 50k with somewhere around a 14% in 10 years it should be around 200k, and in another 10 years it should be somewhere around 800k, and another 10 years it should be somewhere around 3.2 million. Which would be 4x every 10 years. All your other videos seem to have the right calculations but this one doesn’t seem to.
