He passed on Thunder Breathing as he grew older, so I like to imagine that he mastered all the techniques as he matured, becoming incredibly powerful. However, he never got to test his skills personally because the world was at peace.

I don't understand why so many people find Zenitsu's cowardly nature so annoying. I actually find it to be hilarious. It's also apart of what makes him unique bc all the other slayers are all brave. It makes him stand out imo.

I think if zenitsu went to train with Uzui , he would somehow master thunder breathing , sound breathing is a type of thunder breathing and both zenitsu an uzui use speed as a major technique , uzui might be a perfect master

Zenitsu has been my favorite character since day 1. The fact he's so cowardice but so strong is the character gap I love.

Tanjiro is considered as a Hashira although he didn't kill the upper moon all by himself, then Zenitsu deserves the title much more than him, , after all, he did kill the upper moon (not the lower moon!) and developed a new breathing too... Not to forget, this time he didn't fall asleep 😂😂

If zenitsu had inoskue’s confidence. Not only would he have been a hashira at intro due too his style there’s a strong argument for him being the strongest later on before tanjiro masters his breathing styles.

Zenitsu would easily be one of the most powerful characters in the series had he mastered all the forms and gotten over his fears. HOWEVER i do love him the way he is and think he’s adorable and unique the way he is.

I think it is important to note that one of the reasons she was so skilled is because he only practiced that one form so he perfected it & was able to create a variant of it because of having such a great understanding of it. Kaigaku was the opposite instead knowing all the other 5 forms of thunder breathing, with a demon art that amplified it with actual lighting, he even had demon enhanced strength, speed, & senses but he did not put the time into them so he was average in his use of them. I feel his character represents the saying "I fear not of the man her practice 10,000 punches once, but the man who practice one punch 10,000 times." Edit: I usually don't edit, but ya know I woke up in the middle of the night laying in bed, then I realized where I heard the quote. Bruce Lee, I can't believe I forgot that, I feel so dumb bro LOL!

Ngl, i would love to have a scene where the trio got recognized as Hashiras, and then do some sparring just to see how good they have gotten with their skills.

I think his cowardice is great, because when he flips the switch and falls asleep that's when the demons become afraid, just like the spider demon who was so confident that the battle was already won.

My man went and killed the guy he hated, then dipped, that's god tier badass moment. Plus the only reason he didn't get much recognition is cuz Demon slayer corps dissolves after that arc. Also Kaigaku is no doubt much stronger than other upper moons, as he is one of the only two Demons who know breathing techniques🗿

Im pretty sure he did overcome his phobia cus when his teacher died he realized that the other student was the one to blame because he turned into a demon causing the old teacher to commit suicide. Then he pretty much becomes badass all the time

Zenitsu is a perfect example of practicing 1 skill 1000 is better than practicing 1000 skills that’s what his fight against kaigaku showed so I don’t believe he would’ve been stronger if he knew all the forms he’s greatest strength was how good he was at the first form so good that he created an entirely new form from it

Zenitsu literally invented a new form mainly to fight with his now dead senior. He still made it his own move and was able to demonstrate it with ease that baffled his senior and would also make his master proud. Zenitsu mastered thunder breathing a long time ago he just as you said was too cowardly to know the other moves so he stuck to one but its not like he couldnt learn the rest in a day or 2 considering his endurance.

I honestly think he could have mastered the other forms after this arc if he kept training. Because with his master dieing, and Zenitsu becoming serious and managing to kill new upper 6, he should have have some sort of epiphany and learnt the other forms of Thunder breathing. Although there may have been no reason as the demons had all gone. It would be nice to know that their techniques were passed down and not lost forever. That shit always sucks imo, when the future generations forget how to do something their ancestors could do. Or when a descendant does not make any effort to preserve their ancestors' food recipe. All it takes to preserve it is to record it on paper and put it online. Although there may have been no reason as the demons had all gone.

Zenitsu is hashira level and has always been since the beginning. Rengoku said the main elements are water, fire, air, earth, and lightning. (Zenitsu mastered lighting first form the hardest one) He has saved tanjiro and inoske many times. He battles always alone. Dude is a savage.

In short, if he reached full potential the story would've ended short just like in the other animes

I always thought that kaigaku was just “there”, since he only became a demon recently during the time period of the final arc, and he was only promoted to upper moon because he receive a lot of muzan’s blood. I thought he was not completely upper moon level yet, although he might’ve reached that level if he survived longer. Ofc it’s still very impressive that Zenitsu defeated him while fully conscious, but I always thought that kaigaku wasn’t upper moon strength level yet.

Without reading the Manga, I'm expecting this to be the case in Infinity Castle 😎🤯

Inosuke 🐗 🐷 is the fight genius among the trio. He taught himself breathing just by watching his opponent and then took their swords Imagine this guy wa trained by a master from the beginning. He would for sure have added more forms to the breathing style learned....

I truly believe before the infinity castle when he fell asleep he became hashira level when he fought the sister upper moon 6 she couldn’t handle his speed and before the fight started u gotta remember he started the whole fight by speed blitzing everyone and knocking her to the roof she couldn’t react in time even her brother ain’t see it coming. Then muzan said he’s too fast. Before the infinity castle I could say only tengen was faster than him and that’s because of training and experience over zenitsu. So that mean he had the speed advantage over all the other hashira. Remember there’s a hashira who’s not strong but she’s super smart. So strength is not the only way to become a hashira. His ability should make him considered hashira being that he was second fastest until he became the first. Only problem he didn’t know how to show his speed while awake only tengen seen it and that’s why his opinion on him is that he has very high potential he’s just to distracted by woman and needs to focus only on training. Thats why the training arc he was flying through till he got to the stone pillar because that was strength base training which is one of his weakest thing after confidence

The way i understand it is that because Zenitsu only knew 1 form that he had trained it so well that he could literally do it in his sleep, and because Kaigaku knew the other 5 forms he wasn't nearly as good with any of them in the same way Zenitsu was, and then Zenitsu created 7th form by combining 1st form and Tanjiros sun breathing.
