I'm a shredmachine jackson guy through-and-through. Dave Mustaine, Dave Davidson, Rhandy, my kind of guys. But always nice to see new things come into light.
Great to see some truly dope stuff coming out of Jackson in the near future! Now let's see the return salvo that ESP/Ltd inevitably has coming! It's so exciting to be a metal guitarist nowadays! We're back, brother!
I'm so happy someone is making a baritone 6 string with normal pickups and for once it isn't a superstrat. There were very few options without going the custom route or settling for something like a Bass 6 or the Gretsch everyone uses right now. Still wish there were more color options but it's a start.
I’m a bass player. Have been for 15 years and honestly this is good news. The strat is iconic but It’s about time the more obscure and pointy shapes get the attention they deserve. Making them more accessible it’s just going to help other companies hop on board because if I’m really being honest. If I can can just have one , I want a 5 string Ibanez Xiphos in A standard. Bass players like necrophagist too 🎸🔥💯💀
I love Warriors! My biggest complaint has been the lack of options, if you want a really spec’d out one you kinda have to aim super expensive or the Revocation signature these are exciting to me
I definitely think that Pro Plus Single Cut model should have the traditional "6 in line" Jackson Reverse Headstock !! It would looks so great !! Single Cut's with Banana Headstocks are cool !! (Reverse or Non-Reverse)
Love it. My first guitar was a Jackson back in the 90s. I ordered a Carvin every year till.the name changed and they changed the scale length because it was nothing I couldn't get with a Jackson.
I don’t know if it’s intentional or just the photo, but I really like the tan Jackson logo on the new baritones. Looks cool with everything else blacked out. Love me some Jackson’s.
I’m planning on getting the Kelly or Warrior baritone. Ive got my fingers crossed that they give IV (Sleep Token) a production Sig of his 30” Monarkh baritone. That would satisfy my low tuning needs for life.
I was veryyy much a Jackson hater, had a really rough experience with a natural rhoads. I now have an Slat-7p and I am ALL they way on the Jackson train🔥🔥🔥
It’s not gonna be a production model but I’m excited to see what Clint Tustin’s new custom shop from Jackson is gonna look like. He said it was the firebird shape on the ERRA rig rundown from a few months ago but with the fishman open core moderns and an evertune.
The only thing bumming me out about big name 2024 guitar drops is...the lack of maple fretboards...I would LOVE a maple board on one of those black label Jacksons (although I guess that would go against the whole blackout theme). Seriously though I think I haven't seen one maple board on a new guitar in almost the last year
In a few years time and at this rate, who knows? Jackson might enter the Bass VI market because of all the hype right now. That would definitely be a welcome addition in my opinion, and kudos if they can make a guitar in the sub-$300 price bracket for us modders/not-so-financially-well-off low note enjoyers.
I have the Roman sig, it plays great! I'm also confused on what the "custom" neck dimensions are... it feels like a standard Jackson shred neck. But the pickups, I dare to say, are USA made. They sound so clear and rich. They don't have that cheap import sound that many do. They sure sound good. possibly my new favorite bridge pickup next to the Seymour Duncan Omega (Mark Holcomb of Periphery's older set). Overall it's a great guitar, a little high priced but worth it. Also... luminlays would have been nice but like you said, at least SS frets!!!
A 6 string version of the XT Soloist would be an instacop. I'm imaging some mid-priced high spec passive HH HT is coming as that is currently missing from the lineup. Thought it would be in the American line but Pro Plus would be what I can swing so hopefully it's both? If not, I'm gonna build a Warmoth Jakeson custom shop HH HT though I'd rather have a real Jackson.
8:22 quick correction- the LTD crackle guitars have been out since 2022 and were just discontinued this year; jackson absolutely didn’t beat them to it!
Get the Baritone Warrior for review. Are Far Eastern-made instruments good enough now? Charvel/Jackson used to produce really excellent instruments in Mexico.
I really wish I could the Single-Cut with Neck-thru and the hockey-stick headstock. I realise there's probably a very good, very boring explanation. I just want that level of madness.
Nobody's selling guitars right now. GC and Sweet Water are blowing my e-mail up constantly. Manufacturer's better start working on prices or they'll up end up where Stellantis is at.
Having neck thru construction then putting a Floyd Rose on the guitar is kinda stupid . They bore a hole completely through the neck and then carve out a hugh section for the spring cavity which is behind the pickup routes only leaving maybe 1/4 inch of wood in the middle. It would be more cost efficient to have a regular set neck or a bolt on neck.
@@tonycarel1785 Right? Their asymmetrical designs would look great with reverse headstock versions of those shapes, as the fanned frets would flow with the body shapes perfectly. Honestly, I think they would look WAY better than standard parallel frets with those body shapes.
@@RainMakeR_Workshop I agree 100% should of done this like two years ago with Stainless steel frets and MS. I would also like to see the warrior get the same treatment.
been a subscriber for years now but wanted to say an extra thank you for the videos! thanks to you i got my dream of a prs and a sandblasted finish on the same guitar🫶
frothing at the mouth for that baritone kelly (and the monarkh too) i had a js32 kelly because it was the only model i could afford without a floyd rose. these are just out of my budget, but i might do a payment plan for one they're that cool.
That green jackson just before the oneshot dig, i actually got to have a feel of one was a really nice guitar, edit that dk modern sig surprised to see made in korea
The Jackson basses you were talking about looking like Ibanez soundgears are called the Spectra series. They are Jackson's modern bass line. Very similar to Ibanez but they have plastic nuts and a few more issues. I haven't played one but the fact that almost all Jackson basses in the affordable price range has plastic nuts makes me stay away from them. If you want to turn a bass into a guitar. Ibanez has the Mikro which is a 28.6-inch scale length and the TMB30 has a 30-inch scale length. The TMB30 is a Talman shaped bass.
Same. Jackson was my first love, but their quality and selection floundered for quite a while so I made the jump to LTD and their 1000 series. I'm glad that they seem to be taking Jackson seriously again and trying to compete, but it's going to be awhile before i trust their QC enough to drop the cash on them unfortunately (and some of the prices are a bit salty for the pro plus models, but they are unique shapes so maybe that offsets it).
I love that crackle finish on, but damn i wish they would get rid of those piranha inlays, dey so ugly ! Id even prefer normal dots, offset dots, but def sharktooth inlays. Id prolly get mop sharktooth inlay stickers for it.
@@alexnavarro1474 right...but he didn't play anything or write any songs and talked about a bunch of guitars in this video. So, your comment doesn't make any sense in relation to the video like it would if this was a review where he played a specific guitar and wrote a demo song for it.
I would 100% pop red/white pickup covers on the Bloodshot Crackle, which at least that sample looks to be a completely mental scheme. Red hardware ;-) enameled red knobs and bridge ha ha haaaaaaa oh that's twisted.
