Got a good Question for you is a home health care aide considered a 1st responder ? Similar to an EMT firefighter police etc. Considering they're the 1st ones on the scene til EMT firefighter police are on scene for a medical emergency for their clients?
I've been declined by the va to be my father's care giver and idk what to do because he has a brain tumor and the beginning of dementia....I haven't worked in 2 months because I can't leave my father unsupervised because he will wonder off or set the house on fire or something. But the va says because he can whip his own butt that he doesn't qualify.... my Bill's are stacking up isk what to do. If I put him in the nursing home he will pass away
What happens when you are suppose to be a caregiver but you only go work to be a maid and pick up after the persons dog pick up dog poop, clean the whole house, yard wash every household clothes? Cook for an entire family!
Iris Valdivia by doing all those things you are truly helping that person remain independent. It is not glamorous work but you truly do make a difference to that person.
