Latest update is that CHESS-sponsored ASX trading will be available on moomoo in March 2024. Any idea if this means it will be available as a choice or if all future transactions will be CHESS-sponsored? Just confused if this means that if I invest $50 in say ANZ on the ASX today under a custodial agreement via MooMoo come March will I be able to invest a further $50 as this is my second parcel of the same stock or will it have to be >$500 as it will be my first CHESS sponsored parcel? U gave a piece of information Tell about if the brokerage firm goes bust or down what a shareholder should do? Then a shareholder can move there shares easily or not, how many days it take? Or Once the brokerage firm goes down your shares also stuck there?

Nothing is guaranteed especially with individual stocks. People invest in stocks in hopes that it will out perform other 'safer' investments like cash in a savings account. Historically, the entire stock market has averaged a higher return than a traditional savings account in the long term. However, this is not guaranteed.
Hey, I've just subscribed....one question after i go through a broker e.g cmc. Do i need to go in and buy/sell or trade and pick my own stocks or do they do that?...can i just put money into the account and they do it for me?
