Because of the great tax benefits, you might want to consider buying a home you live in yourself as your primary home first. However if there are specific reasons that you do not want to do that, then there is no real reason why investing in Airbnb couldn’t be your first successful real estate investment.

This is all well and good.....but.... an actual example would be helpful. After financing costs, and revenue split, what , just approximately, can a person expect....even a range would be helpful. Even just breakeven might still make this a worthwhile proposition if one can use the property a lot. But none of this is addressed.

That is your clue. anywhere from paying out of pocket every month up to about 6%/7%. Google says 2% - 7% but depends in areas like miami, vegas as price and revenue matters. The higher the price, higher the risk.
