those must be some super heavy duty hinges so the surface does not flex and bend past 90 degrees. Does is keep its position because the face of the desk is longer and goes under neath the box frame? What kind of hinges are those anyway; piano, barrel (style uised on gates) or something else? Looks super cool!

The patent pending hinges have been purposely developed by us for DropTop and are being manufactured in house. They are super strong and in combination with the desk being longer they provide an unparalleled minimal flex on the folding desk.

The table top is behind the hinges so the monitor housing supports the table top, the hinges just stop it falling off

I like that your laptop is an Acer. I own both a Mac & an Acer. I just wonder why folks need a mac to show off their desk set up?
