A family conference is a meeting that’s organised by a Youth Justice Coordinator. Instead of going to court, you ‘ll come along with a parent, guardian, family, or someone else suitable. You can seek legal advice at any time before or during the conference process. A Family Conference is at a location that’s suitable for all people in the family conference.
At a family conference, you’ll be asked to speak about what happened, listen to others that were affected by what happened, and help decide how you can make things right.
