Thanks for the Video(Subscribed) !! waiting for my machine to come in "). Question do you know if you can setup multiple Zero spots on your waste board with Gsender. So lets say you cut alot of the same size boards ill use circles as an example 12" 16" 22", but always cut those from 13*13 or 17*17 boards and so on, can I setup 3 spots on my waste board and mark them with tape or a marker or a cut , then just know that when you put your board on that spot that you marked and selected something form gsender its always zero'd on the X and Y then you just have to tell gsender the Z axis ? Thanks !!
Yep! If you look up near the top-right you'll see that gSender has a 'workspace' dropdown which allows you to access up to 6 different memory locations to store zero points. We didn't show it off in the video but we're working on the written documentation right now which will cover how to use it. Hope that answers your question -Chris
There are plenty of free and paid options to choose from, we make the machine compatible with all these options so that each person can choose what they want to start with based on their budget and experience. If you'd like to see more we've got a video for choosing software (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r5TsfR1SUjc.html) and also a tool that we created where you can answer some questions and even specify that you're only looking for free software options (resources.sienci.com/view/lmk2-choosing-software/#toolchain-wizard) :)
Hey Joe, you can check our docs on downloading gSender here resources.sienci.com/view/gs-installation/ If you still have trouble please email our team directly and we'd be happy to help you out!
I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "one line at a time". If you'd like you can submit a picture or video on our feedback form and I can take a look at it: sienci.com/gsender-feedback/ We also have a FB group and Forum if you prefer using those: forum.sienci.com/c/gsender/ facebook.com/groups/gsender -Chris
Hey Peter, a usual thing i do is make my project .25 inch smaller then the actual wood size ..... then do my rough cut..... return to home .... lift up the z axis .... replace bit .... then drop the z axis down to your material again .... and reset the home ...... just a FYI, u don't need to go back to your home specifically ...... G sender allows you to home each individual axis themselves..... so you don't have touch the Y and Z axis rehome ..... just the Z ..... so u can use any area of your projects original material surface as a Z rehoming point ....... if for some reason ... i did'nt allow for original material to be left ..... i rehome the z axis 1.5 inches above the original z axis ..... i turn down the feed rate in g sender to 10 % ..... and see how far the bit now drops ..... then i keep rehoming the z lower till the bit starts to touch the carved out area and i usually go into the wood @ that point by about 0.15 inch ..... Hope this helps ya out Dale
Hi Kelly I tried this app but doesn't show any connection setting under to connection tab. Tried to find a solution but very little documentation is available.
Hello Muhammed, Chris here. You can find all most of gSender's documentation here: resources.sienci.com/view/gs-installation/ For your particular situation, you might want to check these two headings for issues with connecting to your machine: resources.sienci.com/view/gs-feedback/#the-port-is-not-detected-for-my-3018-cnc If you can provide feedback then that would be appreciated :) We'll also be coming out with a new version this Friday that should allow unrecognized devices to also be connected to. What CNC were you trying to connect to? -Chris
@Sienci Labs No Luck for now. Their website is not responding well. But I remember i did try out a solution for this earlier suggested in the bugs section of sienci labs site. The proposed solution was to install windows update along with a package of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable. But no results were harnessed from that solution. My PC already had those updates.
