Hi Mike, it depends. Patina service items take 4-5 weeks. Group made to orders take 2-3 months but there should always be some patience as it’s an estimate. Covid disruptions don’t help either.
I'm in the market to purchase a Carlos Santos boot; however, my number one issue is - "the colour of the patina." I've read the description of the colours and I've seen some pictures of some the colours as well. But it's still difficult to discern the colour from the swatches. For example, I was thinking about getting the colour Barraida but Guimaraes, Alentejo and Wine Shadow look very similiar. If possible, as you perform a shoe/boot review, would you please display other colours. "Love the joke"
Hi Harold! I can understand your concern about the colors. However I can only display what colors I have with me on the video unless you want to see still images. For the best representation of colors please check out the Patina Service (www.thenobleshoe.com/products/carlos-santos-patina-service) which has almost all colors or my Instagram (@thenobleshoe). The reason I don't also put them on each product is that if you want to buy a boot and you see a monk with a different color you can get really confused. As for the colors, Guimaraes looks nothing like the others, It is dark brown with very slight hints of red. Wine Shadow and Barraida look extremely similar though. Alentejo is a more vibrant cherry red.

Beautiful boots, nice price. I hope to see similar offer next year to wear them during winter, early spring time. Maybe its better to start such GMTO in September/October, so delivery time will be in December, not January/February.
So happy to see another video from you again ...but wish that you made it more detailed and longer...you didn't speak about the quality of the leather or about the construction & how the comparison with other shoe makers ...etc
