WHAT IS A HERO? 

A hero to me is someone I would like to be like, to be brave, selfless and couragious not because it's what is expected, because they can.

Those who sees the reality without any filters, are naturally heroes.

this video seems to be less "What is a hero" and more "Anyone who joins the military is a hero" I don't like how they are using this hero ideology to appeal to people and encourage them to enlist when most people who enlist are either in it for the money, have no other options, or want some kind of action, not because they actually want to serve there country (and yes I am aware that there are people out there who genuinely want to serve there country and they are patriots for that reason but I'm talking about the 50-75% of the other people who enlist)

Every since I was young I always wanted to be a hero but people close to me and people that aren't told me that I cant cuz it is impossible. One day i will help others in need and stop all that is wrong that goes on in our streets. Just you wait world, I will be a hero one day. Not just to prove them wrong but to show that hero come in all shapes and sizes and that dreams can come true

Helping others is what makes me a hero, changing others give them positive feed and what I mean by them is my friends and the people around me it's not about the Fame it's about the person who wants to help others be there for them. Because If I was not here today who else would be there to help?

My hero to me is my mother.. anything I am now is simply not, if it's not because of her.. masyaAllah..

Heroes do jobs that need to be done but few would dare to do. Astronauts are highly competent but they are not heroes as there would be no shortage of volunteers even if told the survival chance was 50/50. SOE operatives working out of uniform behind enemy lines in WW2 were definitely heroic as are undercover cops infiltrating the most dangerous gangs.

An hero is someone that kills themself

A hero could a coward a old man a child a hero is like the lottery you don't know what your gonna get being a hero isn't about having a cool equipment or etc it's about sacrificing your well being for somebody else.

To me, all someone has to do to be a hero is to inspire others to become better by helping them

A hero is someone who tries to save every one they can no matter what and no matter who. If a heroes life and others is threatened by someone, the hero will try to save every one including the bad guy... Because maybe he can become good again.

I'm really disturbed by a Some of the comments of what a hero is on AHC military Chanel. They keep airing this one comment over and over. In particular some says this. A HERO IS A PERSON THAT PUTS THE UNIFORM ON OR A UNIFORM OBVIOUSLY REFERRING TO OUR MILITARY UNIFORM.......WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS GENERATION? WE THROW THE WORD HERO AROUND SO FREELY. THERE OR MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM THAT ARENT THERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS OR THERE ARE SOME THAT WOULD NEVER RISK THEIR LIVES FOR NOTHING. BEING IN THE MILITARY I SAW THIS FIRST HAND. THE MAN IN THE UNIFORM NOT THE UNIFORM. ALSO LIKE MY GRANDFATHER ALWAYS SAID. A HERE IS THE GUY THAT DIED ON THE BATTLEFIELD OR HIS COUNTRY THAT WAS THE ORIGINAL HERO. .......PLEASE REMOVE THAT DEFINITION OF A HERO AHC......ITS THE MAN OR WOMAN NOT THE UNIFORM

Heros are people who fight for those who can't they don't do it for the fame or the money they do it for the people they love
