Thank you -- this speaks to so much of the kind of films I am drawn to. Having written dissertations on both landscape aesthetics and Koyaanisqatsi, and having tried to produce some films in the manner of James Benning, Peter Hutton, Nikolaus Geyrhalter, etc., it's always encouraging to see others recognise landscape cinema as an interesting and valuable contribution to the history of visual media; and to be introduced to more films and resources on the topic!
