Something I use the loop turner for is feeding the excess chains left behind when I serge a seam back into the garment. I work the turner through the already serged seam about 3 to 4 inches back from the end, until it pops out the end with the chain, pick up the long chain, and pull it back inside itself, cutting off the excess. Voila, no unsightly long threads inside your garment. (Hope that was clear as mud!)
