It’s all nonsense. No man can be your mother. But a father is just as important. They just have different gifts to give a child.

My 2 cents worth, here. I am a man, and raising my son. It’s getting easier to be a caretaker now that he is older, but most especially when he was young, there was no way I could be his mother. I don’t just mean being unable to breastfeed. I mean mothers have instincts or something, and there is no way I could adequately do their job. I’m sorry, but a man cannot be a mother. I did my best, but I have to say that I am in awe of REAL mothers. They so totally have my respect.

God created two sexes-male and female. It takes the two to procreate. Females were given the gift of the ability to birth the offspring. That is how it has been been since male and female were created. Saying anything to the contrary does not make it true. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and God bless them. ♥️🙏🏼

I’m a single father of two amazing daughters. I’d never let someone call me a mother. They were in diapers when I got full custody of them and I never got a single drop of government benefit money like majority of single mothers get. They had no single father programs back 25 years ago when I was raising them. No changing stations in the men’s bathroom, I gave them full protection as a father from all dangers while I was a serving my country. I was lucky to grow up in a mother and father led household so they both did amazing for me.

Dads have a critical role to play in the raising and development of a child, but that role is not the same as that of a mother.

As primal a yearning in most women as bonding with a woman in most men, she will go from man to man. Girls without fathers in their lives are for more likely to be sexually promiscuous, and to begin sexual activity at an earlier age, which in turn are reasons many young women are depressed. Few women find sleeping with man after man fulfilling. Most find it ultimately depressing. Finally, fathers give both sons and daughters the thing children need most, a sense of safety and security. As much as children need love, they need a sense of security even more. And in general, Moms give love and Dads give security. It’s not that hard to learn how necessary fathers are, not just by having one obviously and being one yourself, but by the many people men and women of all ages, who can tell others that they see certain men in their lives as “father figures”. Any man should be honored to fill that role. The good news is that many men can fill it, grandfathers, uncles, teachers, mentors, clergy, etc. But some man HAS to be your father.

I had two emergency c section that was extremely painful, uncomfortable, and sacrificing. I literally breastfed both my children for up to a year, making sure they had the best I could possibly provide. Last, I put down having a career to be a stay at home mom and a homeschool mom so my kids could have the best care and education....I wish a man would come behind this and redefine the role of a mother as "giving person, chest person, and male induced chest liquid 🤢". Cut it out!!! I appreciate my husband, who is a man, a provider, and protector... no need for him to pretend he's something he's not...

I'm with the British mothers. We need to keep the definition of mother the way it has always been. Then, make a new word for the "other mothers" (e.g. trans women want want to be called a mother) so they can have their own defined word for what they are/do.

I don't know if they voted on this yet, but there is a legislator in the California legislature who proposed a law requiring anyone involved with labor and delivery, including housekeeping, to acknowledge that men can get pregnant. The proposed fine for telling the truth? $25,000! If anyone should know the difference between men and women it should be those involved in the birthing process! One birth support book I read used "birthing person" from page 1, because we must use inclusive language. Sorry, but biology is exclusive. If this passes, the only way I can support laboring mothers is to leave the state.

No, a man can have motherly qualiyies or fulfill some requirements of motherhood, but he cannot be a true mother in the definition of the word. Personally, there are 2 definitions of mother, the biological one, and the societal one, the first is an adult human female that contributed half her genetic material, gave birth to you after carrying you in her womb for about 9 months and/or feeds you her breastmilk as an infant from her breasts. As you can see even biologically you can have many types, a genetic mother, surrogate mother, or breastfeeding mother... But the more important definition is the societal which gives one the title of Mom, mum, mummy, mama, etc..., a mother is the woman who raises you from infancy to adulthood and fulfills the nurturing and caring aspect of parenthood, this can mean a man can fulfill the responsibilities of motherhood, or someone besides the the biological mother, a father can be nurturing & caring, but that does not make him a mother.

It's sad that almost every person reduced motherhood to a scientific base. Hardly any words about the morality, design or dignity of motherhood. This is what happens in a secular society that has abandoned God. Everything is reduced to science and feelings. If you can scientifically become a woman and "chest feed" then so be it. This is a world without God and it's going to keep getting worse.

This video seems to have poor faith to me. You don't have to give birth to be a good mother, some birth mothers are bad (there's a difference between a relative and true family). I think children need worthwhile parenting in general. No, men can't moms. They're dads. For your information, there are trans people in this world with the capabilities to be an effective parental figures. They deserve to start families if that's a dream for them. Shoutout to the trans ladies who are better at motherhood than Moms for Liberty, and bless the transly paternal figure guys who are better than my lowlife father.

I don't see why trans women can't be mothers personally. I feel like PragerU is honestly very transphobic. A female and a woman are not the same thing, and biological males can still be just as good of parents as biological females.
