In this video, Jack Fine, P.A., answers common questions about "no-fault."
The term "no-fault" varies from state to state, but in Florida, it means that if you are in an accident and you are injured, your insurance will pay 80% of your medical bills and 60% of your lost wages (through your PIP or Personal Injury Protection coverage) up to $10,000 no matter who is at fault in the accident.
However, if you are bringing a case against someone who caused an accident, fault is very important.
No-fault only applies to your PIP insurance covering your medical bills and lost wages.
