actually using cast is still somewhat trackable. why do you think bills have serial numbers? lets say you withdraw $1k from the bank. that cash has been recorded by the banks using their serial numbers. then you give it to someone for a widget. they then depost that cash into their bank, where it is recorded by the bank. cash is traceable.
So what are some of the truly privacy coins you'd recommend per your own discretion. I have seen VEIL coin trending off late on Bitcoin forum. Any comment on that please?
I'm still confused. If I convert my provacy coin into fiat. Won't exchange know of the money sitting in my fiat? And when I move it into my bank account
Yes. That's the main problem with privacy coins right now, it's easy to get into them, it's hard to get out of them again. The obvious solution, is to cute Fiat out of the equation, and just do all your transactions in these privacy coins, of course, that's not feasible as long as Governments want you to pay taxes in their issued currency. I love the idea of privacy coins, but I'm gonna be brutally honest, they'll all fail one day, unless there's some sort of major collapse, and even then, society might not use privacy coins, but rather backtrack to gold and silver, like what has been the norm in most of human history
Exactly, it's like a digital version of cash. There's a war on cash, and if you have cash, it's very hard to do anything with it, besides low value transactions. You can't pay your taxes with cash, you can't buy a (new) car with cash. And when cash is out phased completely, they'll go after the privacy coins as well.
