For survival it works when the electric goes out. I decide to buy, and get this... A Gravity filtered hot/cold water dispenser with self cleaning UV sterile Technology. It uses all and any of the great filters so I can choose the best.. I bought one for my GYM and over 30 members bought one for their homes. For the price you get a lot more for your money. You tube won't let me show the site were bought it, I don't know why I think they think it is spamming but if you go to purall at US on the end you can figure it out. Just wanted everyone to know because I could have saved 400 dollars and bought this one first. God bless...
Hydrogen Sulfide is what causes the rotten egg smell in the shower. Does it mean i need a new water heater. Mine is only 2 y ears old and it's the second AO Smith replacement.
Thank for the introduction, My question is this: what methods will you use to treat well water that was okay for 8year but afterward started to have a polymer kind of odor and a bit of kerosine taste?
Question: after it goes to all filters why does it go to the sump pump? should it go to house for cold water line and a line to hot water heater for hot water heater?
Just moved to Morganton, NC. I am told the city water supply is good but in the summer algae blooms in the water source creates a musty odor in the city water. What kind of filter is needed to get that musty odor removed? Why does that musty odor get through the city water treatment system?
great video! for city water that is hard and high in chroline, should the carbon media tank be installed only after the water softener /resin tank in order to filter out virus and bacteria? , does the order or sequence of carbon tank, sediment filter and resin softener tank matter? which order is better?
Typically softener is installed before the carbon as the chlorine in the city water will keep it clean while anything post carbon tank does develop the possibility of microbial growth, while rare, it could happen
Do you recommend installing a whole house water filtration system in combination with a water softener system? And what about adding a whole house Water Conditioner System to the setup, will that lead to additional benefits to the whole house water treatment system?
Depends on your water, whether it is city or well water. Definitely get a water test before considering a water softener. If your water is already soft, then getting a softener will be pretty much useless and also having too soft of water can lead to water having a "slippery" type of consistency which I hear people hate.
So, if you install a whole home water Filtration system for Well Water that is supposed to be treated, but still has very hard water, can the whole home filtration be enough without also purchasing a Water Softener?

I want everything out of my water. When I turn on the tap, I want NOTHING except pure Hydrogen and Oxygen and maybe trace amounts of copper from the pipes. That's what should happen to anyone that gets a water bill.
@@drucru4998 Reverse osmosis filter will get rid of some fluoride but not all. Only a water distiller will get rid of 100% of fluoride. Distilled water evaporates water, so the water turns to steam and rises, leaving all the crud on the bottom. The machine then condenses that steam into water. The water has no impurities.
you need a good water test . you don't need a water softner or uv most times . Water test is important . hardiness mine was 4 iron mine was 2.0 ph is 6 manganese 0 sulfur 0 nitrates 0 I have a well that is 400 feet in the ground and just put in pentair 1hp pump
