Uber driver app is worse than the Lyft driver app imo. Uber needs to 1) pay driver 80% of riders payment. 2) eliminate trip radar. 3) fix destination mode.

$5 trips don't help me make money which is why I drive. I pay all gas and repairs. $7 doesn't pay for that. Plus I have 102k miles in 11/2 years so I'll need a new car soon, thats not paid for

That $3,00 includes the anonymous additional three passengers that ride share customer can bring with them. So, in LA you take the risk of 1. Wear and tear on car. 2. Vomiting. 3. Threats and insults. 4. Vaping and drinking clients. 5. Car Jacking. 6. Getting shot. From up to 4 people for $3.00? 75 cent piece? New Ride Share line. 75 cent piece. One person, possibly vetted by the Ride Share company. Three totally undocumented. Insane.

❤❤❤ Comfort rides in San Diego are being renamed on some requests as "exclusive Uber X" ! Most of these do not get picked up because of traffic 🚦 conditions, low fares and road conditions! Accidents, in climate weather in illegal immigrants ALL factor into my market in San Diego, California ! Private rides have SKYROCKETED in my MARKET! Passengers are pissed off because of the rates by Uber and Lyft especially on long distance runs because the drivers are accepting the rides and later cancelling because it doesn't make sense! Passengers are missing flights in San Marcos because of these greedy CEOs! Customers are requesting MY number to take them to the airport and SPECIAL EVENTS $. One hundred dollars plus an hour is possible in San Diego California! Some days, no calls!

Got the dui email on friday ( day before my bday no lie) anddddd its almost laughable bc i hadn't taken a ride in 5 days andddddd anyone who knows me knows i don't drink lol. . Crazy. Typical cliche experience too. I professionally explained were in America and i have a right to know who accused me and of course nothing. Very offensive to still deal w these theives and you're the one getting accused of bad things like wow. Evil company. Manipulative stonewalling liars.

They should bring rate cards back by distance and time for all tiers and add commercial insurance (by either, distance and time or monthly fee for example insurance for say $50/month). Better still let drivers shop for their own insurance. That's the only way to be transparent so drivers don't have to worry if uber is trying to rob them on every trip and acceptance rates will go back up fast. Noone currently knows how rides are priced so any alleged bonus is impossible to confirm. Infact, it's more likely Advantage is the regular 100% fee(whatever that is) and standard is 5% punishment cut just worded differently. No way to tell with current blackbox pricing. How they are getting away with blackbox pricing is the real mystery.

Uber is changing prices for drivers and riders every day. When rides are not getting executed uber just increase a little bit. Its algorithm is running on bidding and markup rates

ATL speed limit is 55 Mph on 75/85 interstate . However the normal driving pattern is 75 -80 Mph which passage except you to drive. CMT is Bullshit... is not accounting for real life driving.

Exactly, driving with traffic is FAR safer than driving the speed limit every time. Also I wonder where they will pull speed limit data from. In my market, there are several major roads downtown with a 35 MPH limit, but the in-app GPS has it at 25. Am I being rated based on the actual speed limit or the fabricated/incorrect one?

Advantage mode is most certainly a disadvantage to your daily pay . No way to opt out and you only get Uber x 4$ 6$ rides ; no more comfort no comfort electric no premium not pet . So your pay is drastically reduced!!! Why??? So I meet all your requirements and then I’m just getting petty rides that pay 3 5 6 bucks . This Isn’t what I signed up for.

As a ten year Uber Vet myself, in standard mode, I have seen a 70% reduction in my weekly pay. They give you $5 trips 20 minutes away that they know you are going to reject and it makes it impossible to get your ratings up. Oh and might I add that riders are waiting 20 minutes when I accept them so the rider pays for Ubers psychopathic mind game. These riders are 4.9 or higher riders. I set my acceptance filter to only 4.9 or higher because it limits the amount of request I have to reject. Now, check this out…I can’t receive Uber airport request in the queue but as soon as I drive outside the queue I get ride request from the airport arrivals. Also, might I add, I receive airport request from the airport arrivals while I am 20 minutes away with a queue with 100-120 drivers waiting in it! Uber is the most ignorant company I’ve ever seen

I drive in the Tampa area (15,000+ Trips) and this BS is already implemented here. The first point is that Uber will never do anything that will benefit the driver! They have "think tanks" to come up with ways to coerce the drivers to accept the non-profitable rides while at the same time letting the driver think it is a benefit for them. So, that being said, since the roll-out of the Advantage program, I have noticed an actual 20% decrease in my daily earnings because I am "forced" to go further for a pick-up, or drive to a rural type area with no way back! This is another manipulative idea from Uber!

They just gave me a survey asking "which of these type of rides would you never accept regardless of how much it paid?" The question itself shows their desperate refusal to accept reality. I told them I'd accept any of them if THE PAY WAS SUFFICIENT.

Standard mode is a punishment mode for people who cherry pick. The CMT system is a potential disaster. Safe driving does not always equate to following traffic laws. It's much safer to flow at the speed of traffic than to drive 55 like a robot.

There is so much that can be said in private. Where are the dollars going, the huge percentage shift? Advocacies? Special guaranties for advocacies but not arranged out of net corporate income, but rather siphoned off driver earnings and then the wealth is transferred through various mechanisms to the special advocacies that they are not catering to? Just asking. All guess work.

The answer is not boycotting driving for an afternoon as the rideshare drivers do every year or so. The answer is that no Uber or Lyft driver should ever take a ride for less than $5 ever again . That is the only thing that will hit them where it hurts.

Today for the first time my destination mode icon (magnifying glass) was suddenly removed from my app even though I tried restarting my phone twice. I called Uber Diamond support and they told me that because to many drivers where using the destination mode in my area at that time Uber removed the destination mode. This is way beyond just sending a message that the destination mode is not available where you can reset by restarting your phone. So if the Standard and Advantage pilot program comes to the SF Bay Area by removing the destination mode periodically drivers will be forced to decrease their acceptance rate beyond cherry picking. Also it’s false advertising saying that if you reach the Diamond level you get an additional destination if they can remove it from your app at will.

@Therideshareguy I’m a Chicago driver, rating 4.98, over 2000 rides in 1 year, my AR is usually 9-10 and CR 9-10. I cherry-pick the a$$ off every ride. So, no, none of Uber’s threats impress me. I will continue to cherry-pick and ONLY accept rides that make me a profit. The $3-$5 rides make my stomach turn, Uber. And Lyft. It’s insulting.

Your driving is based on the screwball directions on your phone, that come from the ride share company, that is now measuring you. If they could measure accurately, why are they telling you to turn left now, on the middle of the bridge? Just asking.

IMHO-You are a fool if you allow Uber to put any kind of monitoring device in your vehicle. Consumer reports did a study three years ago saying the thresholds for hard braking, rapid acceleration and cornering are completely opaque. Fewer than half of drivers who installed a monitor in their vehicles realized a savings on their rates. Most saw their rates increase. The report also indicated that the companies used the monitors to collect data that went beyond safety concerns. Most of the insurance companies held onto the data they collected for at least 10 years. The Gecko misled my son, telling him he’d probably save money if he installed the device. He did and his rates doubled. I would never put a device in my car and I have shut off the accelerometers and other movement sensors on my phone. I don’t need to tell anyone on this channel that the people who want this information are not your friends. They will not use the info they collect to make you rich and famous.

LOL, I love you Sergio, give that finger. LOL!! I feel the same way as you. Uber is already treating this like a game with radar trips. Throw it up in the air and see who takes it. LOL!!!! 🤣🤣🤣I have even notice when a radar trip goes up, I see the price for it. And like I said before, I don't take radar trips, and if no one takes it all of sudden I get that trip as a request. I see the price of that trip is now almost $3-$5 less. And I haven't moved and either did the passenger. WTF is that? 🤨And I will not take that trip for less. It's the principle of it. Now it doesn't happen all the time, but I have notice sometimes it does. I have a brand-new car. My accepting rate is low because I will not just take any ride. Some rides are a joke. Not worth the wear & tear or the gas in my car. I live in MA so with the new $32.50 rate an hour, I don't know how this is going to work. But I have a feeling I will be stuck in standard mode if it does come here. Oh well, I'm glad this is only PT for me and not my only income. But I do feel bad for those that will end up in Standard mode. And is their only income. 😝Yes, all your videos are very informative and helpful. 👍
