This problem happened to our 4x4 symptom was engine light came on but the scariest was loss of acceleration, this happened to me in busy traffic our 4x4 had only done 80,000klm I limped home with zero acceleration it was so random got it fixed but wow was it a frightening..glad it didn’t happen why we were towing the caravan....unsure if it’s something that can be check at a regular service on your vehicle...would be good to know how to get in front of this problem 👍

How do you know where they are?

Pcm,ecm etc. Can they be cleansed of corrosion. Mine was replaced . The original looks fine I was unable to find the problem area. Cost 1650 dollars with reprograming the keys. Got a po448 then changed to a po447. Proir to this I had a po442 and 456 made repairs using an autool sdt-206 smoke machine which comes with a built in compresor affordable for the diyer.
