@@charlett7985 But it can, over your entire body it has grown millions of hairs correctly. We just very much notice the few that don't and even then they are often due to unatural processes like shaving
I’ve heard that multi-bladed razors actually increase the risk of ingrown hairs because the multiple blades work by pulling the hair out of the skin a little before the following blades cut the hair, getting a “smoother” cut, but leaving their cut hair below the skin level. Growing from below the skin makes it more likely that the hair will become ingrown. A straight razor or single-blade razor simply cuts the hair at the surface, which means the hair will grow and poke out faster, but is less likely to get stuck and become ingrown.
Its even harder when you got a like very sealed giant bandage on the area you’re not allowed to take off, and im talking fully sealed with no air in there made
I have had these for 20 long years....I would scratch my legs till bleeding..😢 Last year I started laser hair removal...it turns out just great...no scratching,no ingrown hairs anymore..just awesome❤❤❤❤
I learn something new from this guy everyday. He answers questions I never even asked.😂😂😂 Guys, chill. I swear some ppl get offended for anything. Next thing u know someone will get offended if I say grass is green😅😅😅.
Me as a young black guy I can not tell you how annoying it is for me to have ingrown hair. Since I have a Afro textured type hair that naturally curls up.
I had one of those in my armpit for years. It was a bit painful but when i finally got it to come out, it was fascinatingly long. The relief was even better. So have a scar/ dark area where it was
dw i have a bunch on my arms and (mostly) legs but i just pull them out with my fingernails while im bored they don't hurt or anything they just look like circles under the skin and are very annoying
@@randumnes7180 actualy if you don't splash your face with water every morning when you shave you will scrape off all of that dead skin (witch appears as a slimy yellow mass on the shaving blade).
Lol I have two in the lower end of my spine for years and I need surgery for it xD I can't be bothered tho, just some occasional bleeding and pus every now and then
@un0_reverse_card They are repetitive because only one style of comments gets you to the top. Sometimes I know what one of the top comments are gonna say from the capital letter, spaces and the full stop. If alot of people like a comment it gets to the top so people must really enjoy seeing the same comment over and over. This could be caused from lack of touching grass
Well, usually an ingrown hair will create a bump on your skin. It'll look like a pimple, but it's not. And also once you touch it, there's a bit of a sting. So you can easily tell where an ingrown hair is. Speaking from experience, fucking hate these things.
@Inspired_by_Sarah Well, that's different. If you have a bunch of ingrown hairs, it's better to take yourself to a professional to stop them from hurting. Usually, those pimple doctors work with this stuff. Cause if you don't take care of it you'll just suffer.
And fyi ingrown hair is caused by waxing, not shaving. Coz shaving just cuts the hair on outer side while waxing just rips out all of it. So when it grows again, it can grow inside.
i cant believe im actually doing the right way with the ingrown hair of my own all this time without this kinda knowledge at all, kinda proud with myself now
@@kato2395 in order to pull it completely out, you must grab onto it. When you grab onto it, instead of just yanking it all the way out, just pull on it until its over the skin again
I actually rarely get this kinda thing on my armpit and what I do is pluck it out and because it's not that easy to pluck out, I kinda squeeze the part where it is and there is like a puss coming out from where the ingrown hair were and when I successfully plucked it out, it's kinda satisfying and the single hair is very curled up.
Thats why when using blade shaver , shave it against the grain and also with premiumshaving gel, also you can using rotary eletric shaver , problem solve.
Honestly when I shave I don’t want it growing back up ever again at all and I would actually really love it if I could find a way to make that possible.
Laser is less painful than waxing. Waxing and sugaring often cause ingrown hair, unfortunately. But waxing/sugaring is cheaper and in short term gives better results. If you want to get rid of hair forever, then electrolysis (long procedure, each hair pulled individually but gives lifelong results). At the moment the only type of hair removal that is proven effective for life.
@@un0_reverse_cardRespectfully.. tiktok might have education on it but the utter insanity of the 95% other on the platform tends to completely discredit it
I had this once after shaving my armpits. Cause a hard and painful lump to swell which scared the crap out of me since that can be a sign of breast cancer. It eventually went away on its own, but now I’m wary whenever I have to shave my armpits now.
This is why exfoliating the skin regularly is so important, never had one since using a glove and a body scrub one a week and using a loofa to gently scrub the skin more or less daily :)
It’s not the same case for me, i get some ingrown hairs like that but it doesn’t hurt or irritate at all. All I do is just scratch it and for some reason the little layer of skin gets pealed off as I scratch and the hair just stands back normally.
Somehow one of those happens to grow on my knee. That was the most painful pain i had in my entire lide. I couldn't even move my knee without feeling that sharp pain.
Removal is best, deformed hair is difficult to regain original shape and curvature. You still carry the risk of that ingrown causing more issue and infection.
