You didn't mention how relapses are treated. Or did I miss it? Or don't they use IV Solu Medrol or oral steroids anymore to try to stop the relapse in order to prevent severe or permanent damage to the myelin & nerve? I thought it was still protocol for treatment of MS exacerbation/relapse.
Relapses usually leave a tiny piece behind; meaning you never 100% recover, still lesions in the brain are easier foe tour body to “work around” and create new pathways. It’s those dang spinal cord lesions that really make symptoms very apparent. Since I had a large one in my spinal cord, I was left with mild residual issues. Very mild; I am just used to it now.
