The best software for prototyping, documentation and wireframing. It certainly lacks in the graphic design department. But it allows for excellent documentation of app behaviour (including numerous export options). Robust prototyping with simple logic and conditions (though I have made some fairly complex prototypes). Responsive design features are a little wonky with robust prototypes but great for websites. Wide range of control design options and the best system for making design patterns and systems to reuse across projects.
Thank you for creating this video. As a Product Owner working for Oracle I am being introduced to Axure RP for the first time and am trying to understand the benefits/differences from Adobe XD.
Exactly what I needed, I hates that xd and figma didn't have interaction the way I needed, like I was looking everywhere just to see how to add a text form. Thanks brother
I think there's an Axure plugin on Figma which allows you to export your designs into Axure. I'm about to try it out. I've been designing on Figma but the interactions for prototyping aren't great so this may be a good way to get a high end result
It does unfortunately. Its more a hybrid design tool to appeal to more creatives but can't really do what Axure does effectively. Hence you end up losing that microinteraction, variables manipulation and conditional logic that Axure offers.

Definitely. I would consider Framer similar to Principle and Invision Studio. There are awesome animation design tool. So more emphasis is on timing of microinteractions, transitions etc. It all depends on the experience of the individual and what you need the tool to do. For a designer who has used animation tools and knows a thing or two about timing and states, Framer would be a great choice for creating very realistic prototypes. For someone just getting started or transition from a different field, it would be a steeper learning curve. Not sure if Framer offers global variables like Axure because that would allow for real data to be passed and manipulated from one screen to the other.

I have not used ProtoPie before but what I can advise you to do if you are starting out, is to pick a program that's heavily used in the design industry and always mentioned in job descriptions as a requirement and learn that. It will make you relevant to your job role and the market as a whole.
I'm not using any similar program right now. I did try out Adobe's XD before, but not with a purpose. I'm in the market for software where I can design my program and do a/b testing with.
Hi. The choice of program comes down to purpose and what your daily activities in your role entail. Axure is great a UX role where you might need conditional logic, states, and use of variables to enhance you prototype. Adobe XD may be great for a UI designer needing a polished UI prototype that does enough to convey the project. There is hardly one program that does everything well. A/B testing is a methodology used to test a hypothesis about an existing design implementation by comparing two variations. You measure success by comparing certain metrics that you add to the dev'ed implementation(event tracking) and track over a period of time(like a month). For that reason, no design tool do A/B testing. There are specific programs for such testing like VWO, Google Analytics etc which are great for this and that you can try out. If you want to compare two designs before it's implemented, you can run a preference test in tools like usabilityhub, usertesting.com, optimalworkshop, google forms or just present it in front of a person and get their opinion.
