What is bandwidth? How is it different than latency? 

Bandwidth measures the aggregate speed at which a certain amount of data can be transmitted from one host on the internet to another. Although bandwidth and latency are interrelated and frequently affect each other, a simple thought experiment can help illustrate the difference between the two.
