I just got the Montego Butter - It's GD fantastic. I needed something with a little hold. I had previously only used Oil in the my beard. It smells super good too.

I use Oil first like you said. Then when I decide to use one or the another I wait for 5 minutes for the oil to work on the skin then I use the balm or butter. Great stuff !

Beard butter is the greatest product I've ever used on my beard . I never use balm anymore. I use Mo Bros sandalwood butter & the sandalwood oil . I actually use up my balm on my eyebrows now , it keeps them soft and well shaped , i don't like trimming my eyebrows as i like the full natural look , so I've got plenty of spare beard balm that will still be effective for something.

I don't need much hold for my beard, so I only use oil.

The butter feels way better on my small beard than the balm, which feel too stiff on my face. I hope a Seville, Waikiki and Imperial scents will come in butter!

Fernando Ufret always apply oil before balm, or butter. Oil is for your skin. Balm is for the hair. So is butter.

I'll vouch for his beard oils. Got his sampler packs, & am LOVING his Orient Express :-) It smells strong n awesome. Plus, the oil is far more effective than the cheap beard oil I'd bought in a Walmart. BB's oils are absorbed much more by the beard hairs. Enjoy.

I have a question right at the jawline my hair curves with my neck and it looks like I have an indent so my beard doesn't look full why does that happen or what am I doing wrong. I put beard oil and beard balm

I know I’m reading this a year later but having 3 is bad enough, then you go and throw in jelly as well. My head just exploded. Too much choice, cannot compute 😂

Curious, in my experience balms don't really stick if I use oil first. Oil also seemed to nullify the hold of balm if I combed it in second. What I find works well is to lightly wipe oil over balm only if I want a sheen while still needing a shaping hold. Otherwise I use oil after a wash and balm the rest of the time.

Beard Butter was invented in 2014 by us... We are the makers of The Original Beard Butter. It was based upon black hair care products and intended to be an aggressive conditioner as well as a light styling aid.

Good explanation bro but you need to be more vocal & excited of somewhat, lol not so laid back & monotone. ALSO, your information is wrong. You NEED oil; even if you use balm or butter. Oil is for the skin. Balm & butter is for your hair.
