@@cpavon7486 BBTAG is okay but it's directed towards beginners and is also an auto-combo game. They just took a bunch of stylish mode characters and slapped them into a game, the only really good part about the game is the crossover characters and the RWBY characters which are new. BBTAG is a good game but not the one people wanted.
The thing I missed too was the Help me! Professor Kokonoe and Teach Me Ms. Litchi. I know the bad endings weren't a thing anymore in CP-CF, but I really missed the way they would use the Chibi characters. It felt like a mini version of the gag reels for me.
Every BlazBlue game had a title beginning with the letter C: 1. Calamity Trigger 2. Continuum Shift 3. Chrono Phantasma 4. Central Fiction 5. Cross Tag Battle
Another thing is the footstep sound effect in stages like the claudron or the gate or the nol base. They sounded echo and reverb in the last 3 games, makes it realistic. And yes Mori got rid of it in CF.

For example the light effects are just worse compare to the last 3 games, we can clearly see that in the kagutsuchi port night stage. AND WHY THE FUCK THE CLOCK IN THE KAGUTSUCHI PORT NIGHT JUMPS TO 10:30 INSTEAD OF 9:00 LIKE THE LAST GAMES, I MEAN THE STAGE'S NAME CLEARY SAYS KAGUTSUCHI PORT PM 9:00
I really wanted Central Fiction to be the one game with the most content but for some reason, despite being the last main series game, it seems to have less. I really missed Unlimited forms, old colors, and the old Abyss modes.

10:18 Ragna, Nine & Izanami are the only unlimited characters in Central Fiction Unlimited characters were an important part of BlazBlue. They were part of arcade boss battles, unlimited Mars, abyss mode & the story mode. Not even SUSANO'O, the TRUE boss of central fiction got an unlimited form
Yeah, we need a Central fiction extend, with ROLLBACK and english dub (yeah, I know it is impossible but I want to hear Ragnas, Hazamas and Rachel's english voices again)

I bought cf cause I love my girls. Didn't know it didn't have dub til it was too late. Now, I gotta get an english patch to understand wtf they're saying - but having it be legitimate and actually matter for the story would've been appreciated

I really miss these dubs and these other modes hell people I know who miss Unlimited Mars yes High Assault mode was something else I really miss the boss fights in CP I got into the series since CS honestly CP was my favorite out of all of the series I really miss the game I alot true shit

The reason why we never got a dub or some of these content was because of budgeting reason at arc sys at the time. We almost got the dub to central fiction through a petition that failed to get enough signatures. The some of the actor from the previous games even signed on to the petition. The next BB game will probably be in a couple of year in the style of guilty gear and will have some the content that we wanted but depends on how the “reset” of blazblue will go.
Yeah its shame tho! A lot of great casual content for the crowd to love! Thanks to the community for modding the game on PC and does sadden me that we don't get a chance to get the dub for this game. Mostly due to FGC competition and Arcsys want it to release as soon as possible. I wouldn't mind to wait for a year to finish the dub...but is what it is.
I haven't watched the video yet but I'll tell you right off the bat what its missing. THE F***KING ENGLISH DUB. Imagine getting to the last movie in lord of the rings and it's only available in French dubbing. The character interactions and dubbing are half the reason BlazBlue stood out to me. Now... Onwards with the video 🙂
The fact it had no English Dub at a crucial point in Ragna's story still pisses me off to this day. Then again, I feel that Arcsys doesn't really care about their western audience at all no matter what they say. Hell, they get away with shit we grill Capcom for.
God dont remind me that they removed the persona 2 skins. Also there is a music gallery in CF? Because I Don't remember it and was a nice touch. I also miss the mode where you had to recruit characters, it forces you to try all the cast something that is really cool in my opinion. But Yeah the great loss was the dub, like they could have waited for release if It was for the dub 😔
Nice Video man that was very entertaining to watch. These Videos really show your love for this game. Thats one of the games that really made me sad that we never got a full game with Central Fiction. Gameplaywise this game is dope as hell but the lack of content and the stuff that is missing from previous games is a death sentence for many players. Still playing it here and there and if they gonna give Rollback to Blazblue then this is going to be my best day ever. Have a great day you all and dont forget: The wheel of fate is always turning.
Without the dub is my biggest grip. Seriously Arckys should have have done it. Especially since it was the last game. My theory on the reason why the dub got dropped, was cuz of the performance of Guilty Gear Xrd how it was either meh or just bad. But in its sequel Revelator, they drop the dub and fans were okay with it. I think Arcksy thought if they can get a way with it and can make the game show up early, then why not? And this is when Guilty Gear and Blazblue were being developed at the same time. Despite Blazblue dub never having any negative feedback, and have a good reputation, Arcksy didn’t think it be a big deal. The only reason I believe BBTAG even got dub, was because of RWBY, and it being an American animation project, and Roster Teeth wanted to use the original actors. ( I wouldn’t be surprised if that was one of the terms and conditions and they made the deal). I mean Persona is a juggernaut series in the video game world, it’s dub is great, so it had even more support to get it dub, plus Blazblue already the dub. But to be honest I’m pretty if RMBY wasn’t there it would not be dubbed. Hopefully Arcksy starts to realize that us overseas bros love our dubs and would start be consider it about. I believe that’s the case since Guilty Gear Strive is getting a dub.
Actually the dubbed got dropped from CF cause the western competitive players where complaining super hard about not being able to complete with Japan, which is stupid cause Japan had it in arcades years before they got a console release. CF suffered on western sales cause Ragna's eng va was legit pissed and told everyone to boycott the game and it kinda worked. BBTag was legit made to recoup the money CF lost, it was gonna get a dub due to the game just being made for western FGC out the gate, EVO Ready, tag game that also made Marvel Infinite look like trash, ect.
I don't care for the Dub i personally prefer the original VA's. Especially providing its Hyper anime design though i understand the appeal Rather if its good or not shocking they didn't even bother providing Subs JP completely turned a blind eye overseas.

Bruh I feel like there is actually one thing you forgot: grappling characters. We only have 1 and a half thanks to Tager & Bullet, but the only character off the top of my head with a command grab otherwise is Hibiki, who is in giga rushdown town

The most important thing that BlazBlue is missing is not in game, but outside. The game has little to no Western Community, that's about it. Guilty Gear also didn't have one, it was very small, up until Xrd, when suddenly people learned about the game. ArcSys now is a lot more famous than 5-6 years ago, so, maybe, BlazBlue could become big, but, if that doesn't happen, it's just going to remain relevant in Asia as it has always been.
