I love everything about the game: story, music, characters - the plethora of means of entertainment the game offers, really caring a lot about its characters too and the love shines through, shows how amazing and concrete this game and series is. Great video!
the first time I picked up calamity trigger was when I bought a psp and needed some games for it. I was going through a really hard time and was dealing with severe depression, couldn't eat, sleep, couldn't enjoy any of my games despite the fact I just got deadrising 2 for 360. I started it up and immediately fell in love with the characters and setting, it was the only game that completely took my mind off of things despite the fact I sucked at fighting games, fast forward a few years. I introduced my best friend to the game and chose Carl as my main, he chose Hakumen. We both trained and got good together and he became my greatest rival. He passed away a couple of years ago and I truly miss going toe to toe with him. Now my current friend circle is into it and up to my skill level. Playing this series has been a wonderful experience and helped me through a lot of struggles so I hope in the future they will continue the story. this was the first fighting game I ever got really good at and I have Carl's Crest tattooed on my back. God bless you Arcsys.
Blazblue was my first fighting game ever and I am playing it to this day. I love this game. Love the lore, the designs, animations, the speed and feel of the game, amount of content and I am sure there are a lot of other things I love about this game, also I played after Blazblue other fighting games, but not a single one could hold a candle to BlazBlue for me. Only guilty gear was close and yet still didn't replaced BB. This game... No. This series is awesome and I can't wait for new things related to BlazBlue. P. S. Also I am hoping that after launch of BlazBlue Dark War that Mori is going to make another BB Fighting game. He said in an interview that he is going to make one, but after BBDW so I have my fingers crossed.
This is a great video and you did a great job explaining the reasons why people should play BlazBlue. I’m actually working on making a movie for Calamity Trigger since I just love the series and wanted some practice editing videos of it. I still play BlazBlue to this day and have slowly been dwindling away at Calamity Trigger for footage. I do hope you have a great day.
You it's crazy that my first introduction to blazblue was cross tag battle, because that had persona 4 characters with all the other characters I didn't know about, but then after playing the game and wanting to learn more about characters from RWBY,under night in-birth,and of course blazblue I want to learn more about their series,so I got the special edition of blazblue central fiction for the switch and it was the best thing I ever done, because the only kind of fighting games that I know in 2021 was smash bros and kirby fighters, but now I have to say that blazblue central fiction is now my favorite fighting game and it even got me to see more of the series with the first 3 games and the anime,so yeah blazblue forever
Great video man! I started my fighting games career with guilty gear XX (which I still think is a great game), and then I jumped ship to Blazblue a couple of years later. Even though I still think guilty gear is awesome, BlazBlue just feels... different, unique, you can tell the people that made it have put their heart and soul into making it, and that's why I really enjoy playing BlazBlue!
CF is the most balanced and refined Blazblue I've had it for years now. I love blazblue i dont know shit about the lore about to crack open Calamity trigger .
I got into this series with CPEX on the xbox. It’s part of the reason (alongside Persona 5 and a few other fighters) I got a PS4. Genuinely love this series.
Holay fuck. I assumed by watching your video that you would have 200k subs at least but you have 150. Thats a crime. Your content is criminally underrated. I subscribed, hopefully more will follow.
A blazblue RU-vidr whit recent content? Okay this is epic. the reason why I playedthe games was before 1. The mobile games (is sad I know) and 2.emulatimg CT and doing the 100% within a month being the first non smash fighting game that I really played. Also the story even if has very bad plot has some really cool characters ya know character wise in it.
My brother bought me whole series because I beaten some GD levels with Lust SIN playing in the background, lmao. 0:52 Also, this looks like some H-doujin, is it just me, or is it indeed H-doujin...?
Hmm. I haven't played through the entire story since 2016 so I've forgotten many details. I do remember enjoying it a lot and thinking it was overall good but my perspective has changed a lot when it comes to storytelling in fiction. That's the best answer I can give you unfortunately and I'm probably not going to play through the story anytime soon. XD
Been playing Continuum shift extended since it was released on PS Vita. Wish Central Fiction was on PS Vita too. so I could still enjoy it on the go. Nowadays, I don't really play Blazblue cause well... the story has ended. I have to move on somewhere. I would still love to play it online with friends though.
Great video, I just bought 4 limited edition Blazblue ps3/4 games from ebay O: I bought calamity trigger when it came out but since it was the Xbox 360 version you cant perform precise directional imputs for shit on a 360 controller.
@@cujoking3869 I'll look forward to that u make good vids I'm still finishing continuum shift and I already love blazblue I just wish more people would play it
I love this game and the franchise as a whole but fml Tagger has some of the dumbest I-frames and whole body invuln moves and my glue eating friend just knows how abuse them.
BB has a nice selection of fleshed out characters, neat worldbuilding and a weaker but still wild and sometimes shockingly strong plot. Shame CT is a really bad intro. In that events are fine but it is a bad starting point. Nothing fucking happens and you have barely any backstory to go off of. It's less chapter 1 and more of a prologue. It's worth powering through, but it's annoying that you need to do that in the first place. Also, Six Heroes is best track.
That's why you gotta start with Continuum Shift Extend. Game isn't as broken and if you still want story, they were nice enough to give you a condensed version of Calamity Trigger's with all the important bits.
I played some cross tag battle and I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. I’m more of a Guilty Gear guy. Are the other games less... simplified? Idk, I thought that cross tag battle was simple but also not easy enough that I could just pick up and play. I liked the cool shit that you could do, but I didn’t really like that you were just kinda mashing A and B the whole time.
If you're asking if Central fiction is a "simplified" game then it's not. The game is difficult and combo structures are different for every character. I've already made a video explaining why the game is hard.
I'm not sure. I think the minimum to run the game is a quad core processor. But there is an "improvement mod" that further optimizes the game to run better on weaker hardware.
Sorry bro but I'm not willing to spend unreasonable amounts of money on the dlc. I already end up disliking fighting games that have a larger dlc roster then base free roster. I'm referring to blaze blue cross tag mind you as I never played central fiction. I wouldn't be surprised if the same applies to central fiction though. I just cant enjoy the game when I only have 14 free characters that I dont enjoy except for makoto because I'm degenerate and enjoy big squirrel tits. Never played calamity either but the story sure does seem interesting.
Central fiction and cross tag battle are not similar at all. Central fiction comes with 33 characters in the base roster and 3 dlc characters. Every character has their own unique gameplay design. Most of central fiction dlc are color skins. I'm not sure what gives you the impression that central fiction would be the same trash like cross tag battle, but I hope I cleared your misconceptions!
@@cujoking3869 You sure as hell did my man! It makes me happy to see that my feelings towards cross tag arent uncommon and I'm quite shocked to see such a alluring base roster size with a bite sized dlc roster. Really makes me want to consider playing central fiction
