Makes perfect sense to have a premium RMC at both their parks. Wouldn’t compete with their Florida parks, would be different enough from Pantheon and it would make BGW stand out from their Six Flags and Cedar Fair competition. Nice to meet y’all at Universal yesterday. Thanks for complimenting my shirt and my mustache! LOL

Imagine if they had an RMC at ALL of their parks? That would be insane. Seaworld is doing good with Busch Gardens, I do hope they hit up RMC.
@kevinmorris6984
@kevinmorris6984 2 года назад
@@gasoline7954 I agree. Prob more realistic for SeaWorld in CA to get a big RMC, I’d guess SeaWorld Orlando would only get a single rail if anything, as long as Iron Gwazi is an hour down the road… but who knows. They’ll have to compete with Epic Universe pretty soon so they can’t afford to not keep doubling down on new coasters! 😎

BGW is my home park. While I’ll never complain about getting new coasters, I was never crazy about “Drachen Spire.” It was weird and not something BGW needed. If I had to guess what this project will be, I’d say either an RMC Hybrid or S&S Hyper. An Intamin Hyper is also a possibility.
@BliXXardStorm
@BliXXardStorm 2 года назад
I’m ruling out an RMC Hybrid. Twisted Timbers is an hour away as well as KD and BGW not building anything *too* similar. I honestly am hoping for the S&S 10 Inversion Hyper or an Intamin Hyper like Hyperion/Skyrush.

My home park as well. I'd love to see an Iron Gwazi clone with more drop and more inversions. I'm still upset about Big Bad Wolf, and verbolten is a trip down memory lane. So another hanging coaster would do just fine!

SeaWorld has been crazy recently! As someone who has BGW as their home park, I really hope its an RMC hyper hybrid. I think RMC could make it different enough from Twisted Timbers and it would work so well at BGW. Imagine having Pantheon and an RMC in the same park. BGW is already a great park, but that would be insane!

@ajhummel9187
@ajhummel9187 2 года назад
My #1 guess would be an Intamin Mega similar to a scaled up version of Kondaa. Main reasons for this is that SeaWorld has been on an Intamin kick lately, there would be part interchangeability with Pantheon, and the park could use another large coaster that doesn't feature inversions. Second guess would be a ground-up IBox from RMC, which could probably be made different enough from Twisted Timbers that general audiences wouldn't see them as the same ride. If it's not one of those two, I think it will be something completely out of left field that probably would be impossible for enthusiasts to predict accurately.

i think this is a great opportunity to add a new gen vekona coaster, it could be a hyper coaster or a bit smaller.
@grassrootslandscaping7639
@grassrootslandscaping7639 2 года назад
The hyper model vekoma presented to walibi Belgium looks like it would be insane, especially if BGW asked them to make it intense like lech coaster or wrath of Zeus instead of gentler like Fonix, as from Fonix we have seen vekoma can accommodate requests for such things. It would be a great competitor for I305, while being intense while not scaring the GP away. Yours is my current fave idea, just not the most likely IMO because they don’t have history with vekoma, but S&S and vekoma are both Sansei so it’s possible

As cool as a Mack Super Spinner would be, a ground-up RMC hybrid would be perfect. Just imagine the kind of things RMC could do with a plot of land that big and no previous layout to follow. BGW's coaster collection would really feel complete with any major gaps in the park's lineup being filled IMO.

Given the peak height placement/location, you would need an approximate lift angle of 45 degrees to hit 220’. The only two manufacturers that sable with that angle and height are S&S and RMC (B&M do for dive coasters). And given working history, I would say RMC is the choice. You could literally fit the lift, drop and over bank of Iron Gwazi in that plot. Will be interesting. Here is the wild card, Intamin Hyper/Twister, Apollo’s get removed and AC current plot gets a B&M giga. Move the station back towards Pompeii, greater angle on lift, and a 330 ft drop in to the ravine!! Pipe dream wild card!!!

@npaul4171
@npaul4171 2 года назад
An RMC seems like the safest business bet, IMHO. My guess is they have seen huge attendance spikes from Iron Gwazi (which they would have data to support), they likely have a very positive relationship with RMC from a similar project, and they now have operational experience working with/maintaining an RMC (that one park can easily pass to the other). Further, these RMC coasters have an incredibly wide appeal, and BG tends to like coasters that do this. An S&S build would carry higher risk because of more potential unknowns.

I think the two most likely scenarios are: 1. Some type of Intamin. I think BGW made a multi-copaster deal with them. I think the original plan was to have Pantheon have the 'Drachen Spire' as part of the ride. When that fell through, possibly for permit rule reasons, they made a deal with Intamin for two separate smaller coasters. However, the seemingly last minute plan to have Intamin make Dark Castle into a coaster may have counted as the second coaster. Having said that, BGW still re-applied for the 300 plus foot permit for Drachen Spire after Pantheon was built so I think Intamin could still be a likely player in BGW's 2024 plans. 2. The other likely scenario is to have an RMC single rail. BGW and Kings Dominion have consistently made sure not to have similar ride experiences over the years and I don't think BGW will build a RMC hybrid since KD already has Twisted Timbers. RMC has plans to make a single rail over 300 feet high so this would be a step towards that goal. Plus, a single rail could better mimic some of the inversions/elements of the original Drachen Fire. Either way, I hope they bring back Drachen Fire's theming.
@aidanthompson9159
@aidanthompson9159 2 года назад
I think a Mack extreme spinning coaster would be perfect for this plot of land. The only thing is the 220 height thing, which wouldn’t really make much sense but I think a ride like Time Traveler fits this park and especially this section of the park, Germany, with the whole Black Forest essence of Verbolten, I would like to see that expanded to this ride. Something Black Forest, steampunk, German “workshops” if that makes any sense, I can’t put together words for what I’m trying to get at for a theme here. And I mean, Mack rides is a German company, so idk just sayin

I heard that they're considering getting rid of Mach Tower due to all the issues it has, so they could be replacing that with a Falcon's Fury clone? Or they could be doing what Cedar Fair is doing and putting in a B&M Giga that's different enough from Apollo's Chariot? I also like the ground-up RMC idea, they could even have elements inspired from Drachen Fire.

Personally, an rmc T. rex could be very possible if it isn’t scrapped. Only because I know many want a 300+ foot T. rex, but a 150 - 250 ft would prob be one of if not the best roller coasters ever. It would also stand out from every other attraction there. I’m not saying I think this will happen, but I think it’s possible. Also, the layout and elements that (I imagine) the T. rex coasters potentially could pull off is mind boggling.

In reality with the reception that Iron Gwazi has received RMC would be the smart way to go and since it would be a ground up custom build making it stand out wouldn't be hard to do, S&S though, they have an element named after the defunct ride that stood on that spot so that would be clever as well but I'm leaning toward RMC

IMO, a ground-up RMC makes sense simply because they are extremely popular, immediately become flagship coasters, and they unquestionably bring guests to the park. A B&M would sound likely if the height was more on the order of 300+ feet, as it's clear that parks with both B&M hyper and giga coasters benefit, but an RMC would potentially have more draw (and I am sure they have data from Tampa attendance showing success there). For that matter, I305 may not have been a commercial success for KD, so simply having a 300+ foot coaster doesn't guarantee success. S&S would probably be a big gamble compared to RMC from both its ability to draw crowds as well as its potential reliability.

I could see them putting in a version of Maxx Force but with a 200ft top hat, maybe even an inverted top hat to break the tallest inversion record again. I love Maxx force and would love to see an inversion packed extended layout version. BG loves launch coasters so why not one more. 😂

Actually, with intimin rolling out with the vertical launch coasters, I have a slight feeling that they COULD go with it. I mean, it would be cool, but it would be crazy. If it were intimin, I would honestly expect ether something like maverick, the vertical launch prototype, or, the most likely one, an intimin hyper. I would love an intimin hyper around me.

Here an off guess for some park to get in the future. Zamperlas double heart coaster. its not exactly 220 feet cause on there site its listed as being available in 50m and 70m tall. 70m is 229 feet by the way. My actual guess is intamin.

Am I going crazy to just assume this is a B&M wing? We’ve heard how a wing is going to be the inevitable Volcano replacement and this would steal Kings Dominions thunder. Plus wouldn’t 220 be the tallest wing coaster out there? Seems like a slam dunk

Shipping a large scale Mack across the pond would be cost prohibitive right now. I'm guessing RMC or an Intamin Mega coaster.

RMC hyper hybrid, Mack extreme spinner, intamin hot racer, or giant S&S air launch. The air launch would be a massive slap in the face to KD because of the loss of volcano

I do believe volcano was LIM launched, last time i rode it before it closed, however it still will be a slap in the face since the last new ride at KD was twisted timbers.

B&M sit down or floorless would be incredible to be honest… Drachen Fire : Resurrection. Huge INSPO from the original layout. The kicker? This was basically the original plan just completely updated with our height, speed, length, and inversion standards!

I think they view pantheon and iron gwazi as sister coasters. both are extreme, both have stalls, beyond vertical drops, wave turns, outer banks… it’s not like BGT would get a modern Intamin launch with Velocicoaster right there.. and I think it’s much more likely BGW gets an Intamin Hyper rather than an RMC Hyper Hybrid. Id highly doubt that Pantheon’s reliability was bad enough to ruin the working relationship between BGW and Intamin. Maybe they have a new plan? If the modern hyper performs better than pantheon, maybe we will get a modern full circuit intamin giga instead of Drachen Spire??

We will probably find out at the Dark Castle event. There will likely be a teaser there. The more I think about it the more I'm sold on it being an RMC hybrid. A fitting Drachen Fire redemption if there ever was one.
