I have recently fitted Amal mk1 concentric 26mm carb on my 1984 350cc Royal Enfield I am having trouble on the carb when idling coz its not stable the engine goes off sometimes as it’s throw back fuel in carb any possible teach me how to tune the carb Thanks
I own a Thunderbird 350 2016(model). After complete head work, installation of a new Carburettor and piston rings.... I am getting a very annoying Tik-Tik sound from head. Mechanic says, a complete engine work is to be done and quotes about 15k-20k. What do I do? Kindly suggest. 🙏

dear sir, i have 1yr old bullet electra bs4. Right from the beginning there were two noises that were disturbing me. The first one is a fine resonating metallic noise that appears on accelerating beyond a certain rpm (40kmph in 4th and 60 in 5th gears). It completely ruins ride quality and it is not normal because i also owned a thunderbird and classic in the past and i have a fair idea about how r.e. motorcycles behave. The second noise is a friction noise that appears on idling in 2nd gear and goes away on applying clutch. On releasing the clutch, thd friction reappears. This friction noise is maximum in the 2nd gear, minimal in 3rd and absent in the 4th and 5th gears. The third problem i face is difficulty in accelerating beyond 60. 70 to 80 is the most difficult range and the engine seems to struggle. Please throw some light on these issues. I am troubled for a year now and the showroom service mechanics have no clue to what is happening.

Chinmay Sir can this backlash removal be done opening timing cover only or the entire cranck case will have to be opened ? How can these adjustable spindles be fitted ? Is the replacement of spindles be done by lathe worker? Sir I am facing the same problem and now I want to do it myself.
for spindle setting u just need to remove timing cover. no crank case. in any bullet you will have to remove rocker cover and rockers as well for off load. crank case has got nothing to do with it. to fit the spindles you will have to use blow torch as well as Cryo Tech which will not damage the crank case. to replace these spindles u need special tool. Please call on 8007815854 Mr.Sumit for getting proper tool. If you go to Machinist then some of them use very brutal technic which makes issue in future. Best luck with your DIY sessions. Thanks.

Sir mere paas Jawa Forty Two hai aur modern Jawa ke har model mein engine mein se ek typical aawaz aati hai jo kaafi irritating lagti hai jiski wajah se exhaust note bhi dab jaata hai. Kisi ne mujhe bataya tha ki woh awaaz laser cut bearings ki wajah se hai aur Interceptor 650 mein bhi aisi aawaz aati hai par woh Jawa se kaafi kam sunaai deti hai. Kya yeh baat sahi hai sir aur kis tarah iss awaaz ko kam kiya jaa sakta hai? Aap ke jawab ka intezaar rahega. 🙏🏼

Clatter will be there and then time to time it will! Increase. After that you set but then you will have to change. Of course little change in timing will be there.

Sir sound tik tik coming from new 2018 350 cc royal Enfield .showroom mechnc said it's tappet sound and it can only b adjust d after 6k KM's. Is this right ,if nt then wht SHLD I do? Pls hlp
from AVL till UCE nope I mean to say. Reason material from AVL engine is totally different than old STD 350/500 guides. So if you say sound is coming from guide then nope. At least in our knowledge nope.
