CAMSafe is a program aimed at creating a database of private security cameras in communities. CAMSafe has an online registry of camera locations that allows officers to determine which residential or commercial properties have security cameras in place if the property owner has chosen to register their cameras. Only police have access to the database. If an officer requires access to footage, they will reach out to the property owner on the database and make a request directly.
