You have a governmentally and police allowed meth, heroin, and opioid epidemic, and a homeless epidemic with massive amounts of people living along the Grand and Speed rivers and on islands. Here in Cambridge in recent years newborns have been delivered and left for dead by young addicts - in a truck trailer, and an abandoned warehouse, likely more, who knows how many have been tossed in garbage bins. Addicts don't care about life they'd sell, give away, or abandon anything for a high. If the baby's African/Asian, there's a great possibility you're looking for a black and asian homeless addict couple up river. Who knows how it was sent down the river and how far it went before coming to rest.
They take a foot print of every baby born in Ontario. They also have the baby's dna, it could be ran through a genealogy data base. Lazy? woke? hard to say.

Canada is ultra woke right now, and I'm betting that has something to do with this. The media here rarely reports .....well never mind. I've shared this case with other solved cases and they can't understand it either. This case is very solvable. All they do is use it to get grants for their friends to make "busts", like its 1986 still. Nothing is "private" with a court order.

Not necessarily true. Now with Gen match they can trace her genealogy. We had a 27yr old murder case solved using this technology. They had DNA from the murder but over the years never a match. They used genealogy and he was arrested . He had been working as a lab tech in a hospital 2 hrs away from where he brutally stabbed a 18yr old . She was stabbed over 27 times. People saw him leave the store yet after 27 yrs they had no suspect. Finally caught using Gen match.
10 1/2 months to 3 years. Thats a significant age gap , not to mention size wise ? 3 year olds walk 10 1/2 months , possible but not likely, also just appearance wise you could tell the difference between a baby and a toddler.

My kids saw the flowers on the fence during the Mudcat Festival and they were both crying by the time I told them gently what had happened. Poor little baby. Every time I'm in that area I always look at that part of the fencing and I think about the little angel
