I wanted to discuss a bit of what from the official games stories is canon in my Sonic: Animated Series. I also discuss a bit of what I have planned for Aftermath and other lesser known and utilized charcters that'll be coming into the fold. I just stumbled upon this channel and your series and I have to say… I’m invested. Your series is honestly really unique and interesting. Having Scourge and Bark wanting to reform and move on from their pasts and doing these really interesting concepts with other characters like Dr. Eggman Nega or Fleetway Sonic. I’m interested in seeing what you have in store next for your series.

@@soniccreations I agree. One problem I had with the 2010s Sonic games is that the characters didn’t really have any depth and felt out of character. Especially Shadow. At least with Frontiers, we’re starting to see improvement. And the IDW Comics have been pretty good too.

This is so cool, just found out about your channel and had a quick binge watch on your show. Amazing stuff, they really don't make stuff like this as much anymore, and your drive and pride to get REALLY into it all is infectious and I love it. This particular video is something I don't see as often with these Sonic AUs, might do one similar for my Sonic stop motion show hahaha. Great stuff man!

4:42 month late I know but the reason Shadow gets the idea that you can use chaos control time travel is because when mephiles it felt like chaos control (says it 2 cutscenes after the mephiles introduction). The reason they never use it later is because without mephiles taking him and Rouge to the future he never gets the idea it might work.

i like the concept of not having to use the chaos emeralds ton time travel but the problem with using the phantom ruby as the main source\cause for time travel would not make that much sense because the phantom ruby is limited to only being capable of teleportation and creating a virtual fake reality which affects you in the real world the only reason why the phantom ruby was capable of sending classic sonic to modern sonics world was because of a reaction the ruby had to the chaos emeralds. I believe a better substitue for the phantom ruby would have been the time stones because their only capability is time manipulation.

The time stones are going to play a role in the near future. The idea is that only Infinite has found a way to manipulate the Phantom Ruby thats fused to him to time travel. Now that Eggman Nega surgically removed the Phantom Ruby from Infinite he’s now just Zero the Jackal again and can no longer utilize those specialized abilities of the Phantom Ruby. The time stones are more for manipulating the time of objects rather than going back in time literally, like reversing the damage of a planet for example. The times stones all together also grant three miracle wishes, they manipulate time but are not necessarily used for literal time travel from what I understand. At least thats shat I’m gonna go with in my canon. I’m definitely gonna have to make some more videos explaining things like that in my canon along with explaining it in the show. (Also from what I searched online the Ruby is capable of time travel and dimensional travel)

I do want to see some characters appear in your universe like the freedom fighters, scratching grounder, more characters from Archie and IDW for sure, that would be really cool to see them in that universe

Definitely planning on it! I’ve got Archie characters especially coming in and some IDW as well. Scratch and grounder would be fun to voice😂 maybe good for comic relief. Honestly hadn’t considered those two before.

In regards to Infinite, I don't think The End calling itself "Infinite" is a namedrop/reference, I believe it's just typical villain monologuing lol. I mean it'd be cool if it truly alluded to Infinite but I doubt it. I think he'll remain a one off antagonist for now :(

Just makes me paranoid that they wanna more with the character, but your probably right about that. Although the possibility that they bring infinite back is still quite high even if that was related.

@@soniccreations Oh I hope you're right. Sega can't just drop one of the coolest Sonic designs in history and still only bring back Zavok of all characters lmao. Funnily enough, back when we still thought Frontiers was called "Sonic Rangers", my theory was that the Phantom Ruby transformed Infinite to an Eldritch Abomination hiding in the Open World and that the Ghost Girl was a fragment of the Ruby. Obviously that didn't happen, but it's still interesting how Sage's aesthetic is very similar to Infinite, almost as if he was a scrapped idea or something.

Not only sage, but the enemy design really resembled Infinite’s mask. It does feel like maybe he could be revealed in the upcoming story DLC or a sequel but maybe they did scrap the idea early on and they are done with the character.

I must say I have wondered for a while what was actually canon in your series, glad you finally covered it. Though the big question as always, is Waffle House cannon in your sonic universe? :)

Seems you've included, or plan to include, elements from pretty much every bit of Sonic media? Obviously some Archie stuff, and the Evil Super Sonic was based on the Fleetway version?

Yes, forgot to clear this up. Fleetway Super Sonic and the Archie characters are my own canon versions of the characters. Archie stories and properties of that canon are not canon to my series. The Archie characters have existed throughout the game storylines which, in some form, happened in mine. I’m pretty much only borrowing story from Sonic 1-Sonic Forces, no comics and no TV shows such as Prime and X. Its kind of like how Sonic X took from Adventure 1 and 2 but its own canon version of that, not directly copying the games.
