I'm not opposed to a pre-tribulation rapture, but it's not good to give people false hope. It's better that the church prepare for the Great Tribulation and hope for a pre-trib rapture rather than go through the Great Tribulation unprepared and with hopes dashed. Remember, the rapture isn't our hope. Jesus Christ/God is our hope.

Question pastor, what about my son who says he believed, got baptized even, but now says he doesn't believe anymore and says he is an athiest. Or another family member who claimed to believe on Jesus alone but later fell away and got into Satsnism and dealing drugs, and disappeared 20 years ago hiking and presumed dead. True stories. What if you stop believing? Is the belief present or past tense?
This is a sincere question. Since Jesus died for all, the only thing different about me than a lost person is faith.. faith is not a work. Why is God pleased with faith? Without faith it is impossible to please God. Does the Bible explain the reason ehy faith is required and critical to God? Why did God not decide on universalism for example? I wish I had a full understanding of this.
Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. The LORD tarys and we are in for it. Remember judgment visits the house of the LORD first.

@@user-xn7tq1qh5rWhether someone believes in a pre trib or post trib rapture, it isn't a salvation issue. Although I can't understand how anyone cannot believe in a pre trib rapture after studying the scriptures.
I am post trib, pre wrath. Revelation 13:7. If it is God's will, it would be my great honor to die for him, although I am terrified to do so. Think of the apostles. How many people believed after witnessing and hearing of their death and martyrdom? ✝️💛
Rev.3:10, Rev.4:1. You will not be here my friend. We as believers, are not appointed unto wrath. I pray God will show you this, and give you peace, that you will not have to live being terrified of what is to come. Titus 2:13
@@SuperPatrick777 If you are a believer, you will not go through the tribulation period. We all will have tribulation in our lives, as Jesus said. But that is different from going through the tribulation period of seven years.
