Quick note: Clair has a Dragonite with EXTREME SPEED in B2/W2 PWT, which means that she approved the Dragon's dev quest. She said in HG/SS that the only person who passed the quest before you was Lance (That's why she started to respect you in the first place) and she never was able to do it no matter what (Most probably because her arrogant and a bit inmature personality). This means that Clair had became more mature and kind with trainers and pokemon between games; an implicit yet interesting character development which made her a better person and trainer since HG/SS.
@@Acacius1992 even in the silver game he had more flying types as well. Would love to see Clair and lance get later game teams to be unique from each other
@@Acacius1992 yeah pretty much. Would still be nice to see them travel and train nee dragons. Clair with goodra would be funny if she thinks it's cute while lance gets the more dangerous looking ones. Both would be more unique in style would be nice to mix old and new
After finishing off Kanto with the Indigo Plateau special episodes, we've returned to Johto to take on the Dragon Queen herself! Don't forget to Comment down below to vote for what trainer we do next week and make sure to drop a Like on the vid to give it a boost! We've got 6 remaining trainers left (listed below) to cover in Phase 2 of the series. FOR THE TRAINERS WE'VE DONE SO FAR, CHECK OUT THE OFFICIAL TRUE POWER PLAYLIST HERE: ru-vid.com/group/PLFdGupe1YxoirUsiWFGTSL4nbF4Tm1tej REMAINING PHASE TWO TRAINERS: Morty Chuck Pryce Will Karen Silver
Ninggal Sila Podolski Could be a possibility. However Pokémon Masters recently revealed that a “Dragon Master” is referring to a powerful trainer who has a dragon type Pokémon as their partner. So in other words, Claire is far from being the “strongest Dragon Master” as there are quite a lot of powerful trainers with Dragon type partners (ex. Cynthia, Iris, Lance, Drake, Drasna, Zinnia, etc.) that are stronger than her.
And then Fairy type just waltzed on in and literally slapped this clan in the face with their "You can't affect us all! Take this Fairy Wind to the face"
@@stefantaylor4891 hgss helped alot. Plus masters gave her a mega houndoom and since that game is based off the main series and hes included it for both agatha and bugsy, it should be fine
I still remember the 1st moment i entered into the dragon Den in Crystal it was so mystery but the remake Heart gold soul silver Dragon den is just plain. sometime old game looks better than the new one.
Heh, need to eventually put Clair's True Power team into a gauntlet against Will, Koga, Bruno, and Karen's True Power teams to put her claim of being able to stand up to the Indigo Plateau to a True Power Test~ Bonus battle against True Power Lance if she manages to go the full distance~
Honourable mentions: Pokémon Stadium 2 round 1: Arcanine, Lapras, Rhydon (Evolve into Rhyperior after gen 4) & Ampharos. Pokémon Stadium 2 round 2: Nidoking.
Yep, this video made me subscribe. Just for the fact, that I've seen almost of of your recent vids, and realised it was you xD Like, I thought I was watching multiple channels, but no, it's one great one.
It’d be interesting to possibly incorporate the gym leader Pokémon cards into the rosters as they provide the level of the pokemon on the cards. Just a thought to provide an extra dimension. Love the videos!
Dang I forgot Clair had such amazing Pokémon in the PWT. Clair's team is absolutely stacked, it actually looks like a team I myself would use. Amazing job once again, dude. I'm thinking Karen next.
Perhaps you could take a look at the strongest team capable of type coverage but only those that focus on certain stats like speed above all else. It would be an interesting mix up from the norm of single type gym leaders and elite four.
Her kingdra is mad strong. I had a dragonair i got from coin farming at the game corner and it took down my sweet boi with no effort. Not as strong as Lance but a formidable foe
Can you Defeat Pokemon Platinum using the number of Pokemon in each Major Battle Rules 1. You can use any Pokemon in your team 2. No Glitches, Exploits, and No using the Pokemon Universal Randomizer 3. No Items in Battle ( Held Items, and Pokeballs are allowed ) 4. You can only use the number of Pokemon in each Major Battle Example : If Roark has 3 Pokemon you can only use 3 of your Pokemon , Etc.
Imagine if she had Mega evolutions for her Dragon's. Then Gyrados would be Water/Dark, giving it 4 more weaknesses. Bug, Fairy, Grass, and Fighting. But it would be immune to Psychic while having an advantage with Ghost and Psyhic types. Altaria's Mega would make it Dragon/Fairy, cancelling it's weaknesses to Fairy and Dragon but then making it weak to both Poison and Steel. Charizard's X Mega would be it Fire/Dragon, cancelling out its weakness to water, making it only weak to Rock, Ground, and Dragon.
I was expecting the team to be just 6 Kingdras because you just can't beat that. Kritdra, swift swim Kingdra, Physical Kingdra, choiced Kingdra, and then two more with disadvantage coverage
Garchomp, Salamence, Gyarados, Charizard (2x), Aerodactyl, and Altaria. 7 choices for Mega Evolution Potential. She should have been brought to Alola to meet Champion Cynthia and gain one of these Mega Stones. Thoughts?
At the time of HGSS release, it was disappointing to see Clair's rematch team basically be a discount version of Lance's. Half of her team can stay: Gyarados, Dragonite, and Kingdra. The other half should have been changed to make things more interesting. Here are some candidates from Gen 1-4 that could have worked and to spice up the variety, no choices that were used by Lance: Lapras, since it can learn dragon moves and is kind of dragon like if you think about it. Nidoqueen/Nidoking for the same reasons as above. Feraligatr, a water starter with dragon like qualities. Steelix; it learns Dragonbreath naturally. Tyranitar, a pseudo legendary that can learn dragon moves, like Outrage, via breeding. Sceptile, another dragon like starter. Aggron, learns dragon type moves and matches her personality surprisingly well. Flygon, IS A DRAGON. Should have been a no brainer choice. Tropius, again can learn dragon moves and kind of looks the part. Rampardos, learns Outrage via tutor and Dragon Pulse via TM. Lastly Rhyperior, same reasons as the Nidos. GF literally had plenty of choices to pick from if they tried.
Clair really gives off that Vegeta vibe to me. "Oh you can't beat me, I'm the prince of all saiyans/greatest dragon trainer in the world" and then proceeds to get curb stomped. Powerful and proud, but not enough to back up all her bluster. Still cool tho.
Can you make competitive teams from this? And maybe have them battle eachother in some kind of tournament. These videos are nice and all, but I am missing a big pay off. What does it matter what their true powers are if they never actually fight with it.
I'm waiting until the Sw/Sh DLCs come out before I pursue these kinds of things. Not one single trainer we've done has all of their Pokemon available in the game yet unfortunately due to the dex cut, and my 3DS capture card is broken so Gen 7 is off the table. We did do Brock and Misty last year if you want to check those out!
@@SilphSpectre you dont need the DLC for the additional pokemon. Their codes are in the update and if you buy pokemon Home you can transfer them from pokemon Bank.
