I am 47 and I am a wedding events manager. It's hard to see couples tour after tour after tour. I am the only one of my cousin's who is unmarried and/or childless. For the most part, I stay positive, but there are days I cry out because it can get hard. I know the man God created for me is out there. I know it. God is gonna give me double for my trouble!!

You don’t realize how Blessed you are! You have avoided so much crap by remaining a virgin for so long. Sex outside of marriage is not only sin but it’s just not worth everything that comes with it. Patty- I am 73 yrs old and am still believing that God will bring the right man he has saved, especially for me. I am just beginning to get into painting, and I have a friend who wants to buy one of my pieces. I remind myself of Grandma Moses all the time. A very good friend gave me a book about late bloomers. They are people who started their careers late in life and went on to become famous. Proof positive that things happen when they are supposed to. Thank you, Fumi, for your comments about who you are supposed to marry, which may or may not work for that person. I have been told that I need to stay in my culture or else my life just won't be right. I believe God made me the way he did for a reason. Fumi I’m so glad to hear your story. A friend sent me a link and that’s how I found out about you. Here I am 45, no husband, no children, ended relationships. I thought I was hopeless for a while. I come from a culture where we are pressured to marry early as possible. I’ve had negative comments especially from other African women about my singleness if not sarcastic questioning. I had to put my foot down on them and make it known that we all have different timelines. We’re not all meant to marry at 25

Yes there is a space for Fumi. We often felt forgotten. Unmarried without children but I was attracted to Fumi and her effervescent personality like moth to a flame. It is what I needed. She gives me the validation I need and then I start to see myself as important even if I never got married or have children I know I have so much to give. She came into my life when I was so down and out. Diagnosed with a life threatening disease God led me to Fumi. She reached out to me and encouraged me and I am eternally grateful. God bless her

Wow! I actually cried. This video came mins after I had a discussion with my sister about my married friends, who have kids and even live out of the country. I literally felt bad after that reality check but this was what I needed! It isn't over for me. Congratulations queen. I am so happy that you now will do something that is close to your heart. I am 34 and I recently left my job and is now embarking on my passion and that is to own my own luxury lingerie and underwear’s brand. Especially working in retail and there’s a need for it here where I am from. I too was burnt out and holy it took a toll on my mind, body and my soul I was miserable to the point where I became dizzy, just thinking of going to work, one week later and my dizziness is at ease, headaches gone. Yeah my job was literally slowly Illing me. Now it’s time I embarked on this entrepreneurial journey and shine in my own time on my own terms.

I'm sitting here listening to this with tears in my eyes. I've been so angry and feeling hopeless. I've been asking God for my husband for several years now and I want children so bad. I've longed for them both to the point of crying out for them. I will be 38 next month. I really needed to hear this because I was ready to give up. Totally agree with you Fumi. As a 60+ year old, I can tell you that I'm in my prime. Still smart, still energetic, still got the fellas checking me out, and folks who respect me for the words of wisdom (gems) that I drop. They see me walk the walk that I talk. Independently so. Don't have drama in my life because I'm wise enough to prevent it from coming my way. Look younger than my years because I don't stress about anything. You see, I smartly handle minor things before they become major things. Easy peasy, baby!

I was 38 when I met my husband. We had our baby girl at 40. Got married at 44. I’m now 51 and starting a new phase in my life. Life’s journey can be amazing. I am grateful for what I had and happy to be blessed with my amazing daughter. I am also looking forward to what the future holds. My sister, I am almost in tears listening to you. I am getting ready to walk away from my marriage because I settled, gave in to what society said, and allowed myself to be put in a box. It killed my spirit and dreams. I am going to be 55yrs old and I am ready to start living the life I was meant to live with God on my side.
