Does it? Because in integrated graphics the GPU itself would be a bottleneck so maybe ram speed doesn't matter as much. This is what I think and I may be wrong. Have you seen any videos which tells that it has major improvements? It will be interesting to me

not too much because its the cpu which can do heavy task/performance while the ram can carry heavy application data called application resources to be processed by cpu then.
There are some motherboard whose dual channel capabilities are on consecutives slots rather on alternative slots Yeah most of the motherboard mention for dual channel stick your ram on dimm 2 and dimm4
i have dual channel 8x2 no lag at all and no fps drop but in single channel i used to get fps drops it is on of the main reason i upgraded to dual channel.

If you had run single channel on 8gb and dual channel on 16gb then yeah you'll definitely get that difference but if we're on single stick 16gb vs 8×2 then the difference would've been less. You've not shown how much memory you used on single channel
No no, I disagree from experience....My Laptop lost around 8-10 FPS on Single Channel 16GB RAM but it gives that extra FPS when using two 8GB sticks= 16GB via Dual Channel! Using single channel now, so yesh...

Yes, single channel 16GB team here too, happy enough cuz it's okay! But if possible, I guess adding a 16gb in the second slot would have a huge impact!

Ram timings and ram speed support. Mostly try to get ram of the same company and same model for the least risk of running into errors. If you get another company or model of ram but with same ram timings and ram speed then too it should be fine. But by chance if it has different timings and different speeds then it can cause a problem
