@@Brahmachari11 btech engineering physics and bsc physics are 2 different courses. EP is better than bsc physics

@@shanzatn3667 in the term of what like if we want to go in research field, or want to become professor etc...then bs Physic is best option!! And If u want apply physic application in ur further types of jobs just like by joining ISRO...then go for engeering Physic. Btw bs Physic student have more good options for talking professional job's.

Every company allow to placement meanwhile all freshers want to make career in Ep ....mostly teaching part of Electrical engineering means Electrical company mostly allow to those students...very nice information..

Till now i thought im interested in bs physics, but ep also seems similar to bs phy. If im interested in research in astronomy and astrophysics and want to do ms in it, what should i choose ? Yes, Engineering Physics is allowed all over the world, including the top quant firm and HFT, Computer science, electrical , engineering Physics and mathematics, , is the best for them . They mostly hire students from these. But for HFT ( quant) the top companies mostly hire Master or PhD student.

Even in IIT Bombay, after CSE and EE, engineering Physics is allowed for the same company. Like for apple, only CSE, EE and engineering Physics are allowed for placement

Also , you can do minor in computer science engineering or data science which also helps a lot but it is not necessary

@@sohamsakru2879 there are no placements in physics specifically after BTech, it's PhD after BTech, then you can work as a Research Scientist

In my personal opinion, choosing a better college over a better branch is good. This a personal choice and should be thought over by oneself.

EP's core is research as I mentioned in the video also. But that doesn't make it a bad branch. The curriculum helps you a lot in tech jobs as it requires a lot of mathematics. I hope once you research well about the branch we would agree.

And let me tell you a fun fact, when Google comes in IIT Bombay for recruitment, it's open only for 4 branches, and they are CS, Electrical, EP and Mathematics.
