makeshift shotgun lowkey kinda underrated, at the beginning of the season it sucked yeah but after it got the fire rate buff and the third shot, it was actually really good. It did higher damage than a tac shotgun whilst shooting faster than it, the only downside was the mag size but it reloaded fast anyways; the thing went off in season 6 and still goes crazy in the pit.

Two shot was great for me tbh. You had to get into a flow with it to really make it work, but when in the flow, it was amazing

imagine the venom dub: when u shoot a tendril or whatever pulls them a lil closer (still working like the shotgun but with a pulling feature maybe a mythic or exotic )

I loved the EVO- chrome cause I play Apex and love the mastiff so I was used to that feeling of how it hit.

W take at the end! Best meta is always when there’s a gimmicky shotgun (ranger, dragons breath, etc) along with a pump and tac. I find if you put in the charge, the pump you put in has to be either a lever/infiltrator style so it’s not too similar. My hot take is I actually loved the meta in C2S5 with the lever, tac, charge, dragons breath!

My favourite shotgun was the wood stake. It literally was an improved ch3 heavy shotgun and when you didnt scope in you tend to hit the target way more.

So my Top 5 is (This might be controversial to some but I don't care) 1. Havoc Pump (Especially the Mythic version) 2. Pump Shotgun 3. Ranger Shotgun 4. Heisted Accelerant Shotgun 5. Tac Now my favorite used to be the Tac and was since Chapter 2 because I wasn't good at using Pumps but when the Havoc Shotgun released is when I began to use the Pumps and I quickly learned how to use them and now I barely use the Tac now. I personally prefer the Havoc over the Pump but that's just me. If the Havoc wasn't available, I'd use it.

the Double Barrel was done dirty compared to the Dragon’s Breath as yeah same accuracy but the Double Barrel starts its fall-off at 0.5 tiles and the Dragon’s Breath is 1.25.. also both are too inaccurate, his reasonings can be applied to the Double Barrel if not better since 2.7 reload isnt as bad as over 4 second reload

I think my issue is that I have to remember that he's ranking these by how balanced they are because if we're talking about some of the best shot guns, it's probably the drum shotguns which give you a lot of damage in a short time. Or obviously the classic pumps that give you that big damage anyway, it's just that you have to hit your shot and reload if you don't.

Think sypherpk should do this video and rate them on how he'd rate them based on effectiveness 🤷🏼‍♂️💯

combat shotgun was actually introduced in season 9, and it replaced the pump which was taken out for half the season before players demanded it was put back in and epic listened, making that the first time the pump was ever removed!

Personally, the lever being my fav shotgun ever, the prime, two-shot, auto shotgun, makeshift, thunder, and charge are the only S tear shotguns in the game. Most of the lower graded shotguns are all of my favs😂😂😂

The point of the exotic Double Barrel is that you use that for mobility. It's a flintknock with two shots and a low grav effect. I don't think it was meant as a main shotgun.
