I second this! It’s so important to listen to your body.. I ignored my body demanding extra rest for years because I didn’t really understand what was happening and now I have ME/CFS. Health is wealth and nothing is worth making yourself so stressed and sick!! ❤️
A mystery box would be AMAZING especially when we know it’s from you who cares for her things and if it’s gently used I’m sure so many of us would love it. 10000% prices have gone WILD some drugstore things are almost Sephora price! At Shoppers, foundations are like $25 plus and I swear before drugstore foundation was like $15 max no?! I was shook
Although inflation is a real thing, I think a lot of brands have used that excuse to grossly inflate their prices - not just for makeup but for clothing and accessories in general, especially the luxury brands. Even drugstore prices are getting out of hand.
I would absolutely use makeup that has been gently used, especially by someone like you who I know takes good care of their things. There is so much waste in the world - it makes perfect sense to pass things along so that others can make use of something that might otherwise end up in the trash bin. I was in Sephora when they were creating the tester for the new Patrick Ta pallet, and although I do NOT need it, it is beyond stunning!
As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of eyeshadow, (almost never) I appreciate your simple paired down eye looks stops me from spending money on things I won’t use.

I just want to say that in regards to wedding stress. When I was in the thick of wedding stress someone told me if even of everything goes wrong, at the end of the day, you’ll still be married. It was a nice reminder to try to just enjoy the day. So much goes into it with the planning and prepping (and the $$ of course!) But don’t forget to live in the moment! Enjoy the time and remember no matter what, you’ll wake up the next day as Dejan’s wife!
I really like the idea of doing a mystery box and not simply throwing it away. It is less wasteful and a chance for people to play around with some new makeup they might not afford usually :)
Hope your energy levels return, having a day in bed to recharge was just what you needed. My mum always says ‘sleep is the best medicine’ and she’s right. A mystery box sounds like a great idea, especially if the products have barely been used. Recycling at its best. ❤

I’d love a mystery box, I have no problem with hand-me-down makeup! ❤ Also, I agree $100 palette is just inconsiderate of people’s budgets and too exclusive. Take care of yourself, I often get “sick” when my body just needs me to stop running around and rest. Take care, lovely 😘

I'd LOVE a mystery box! That's an amazing idea. I have the same problem, I think pallets are lovely, but I usually end up using bronzer and a topper. And we all trust and love you, it's not like something is possibly contaminated. Such a great idea!!!!!! I'd love, love, love one. I think the mystery box is an awesome idea! I have super eyeshadow palettes that I still use and it’s still good. Regarding costs, it’s depressing how much things have gone up. Personally groceries have been the worst to shop for seeing how high prices have gone up.
I caught myself last summer lusting over the ND biba pallet, so I went through my entire eyeshadow collection and took the little tins out and made my own perfect custom pallet. It’s ASTONISHING how easy it is to find your perfect shades and finishes across a couple pallets.
Echoing somebody else in the comments, have been feeling Lan withdrawal and didn't even realize it's been a while since you posted. I'm excited for almost anything you put out, but at the moment I'm specifically interested to see more content surrounding your nuptials really! I'd be curious to see you just chatting about if this new life milestone has changed anything with your mindset and if so how, after some time has passed. I personally love you and Dejan's approach to commitment, and think I would make similar choices myself, and would just love to hear whatever you'd be comfortable to share!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with sleep / being tired, etc. 2 weeks ago, the same thing happened to me. After a week of basically no sleep ( It always happens like a week before my period) & is so freaking frustrating. But, I've always had sleep issues & it's just so tough when you have so much to do. The day it came, I literally slept the entire day, and most of the next, it took a few days to just feel myself again. Like, completely wiped out. Anyhoosens....I'd be interested, Lan.
