I swear this needs to be like an introduction video for every new believer lol…I wish I would’ve heard someone teach this when I first gave my life to Christ. It would’ve saved me from so much overthinking.

I've been in church for 9 months before I was born. I was never taught this or in a way that I could relate to. God has lovingly opened my ears, heart, mind, and soul to his love. Mark DeJesus has been 1 of my top 3 resources that God has blessed me with. I've been awakened, set free, and I can deeply understand the word picture of being "born again." Regardless of when we started "becoming" a Christian, we probably don't have the solid Foundation of Truth that Mark D. teaches.

My last cancer treatment is coming up, and my OCD has been rampant. Checking checking checking. Thank you for this message, mark. I will choose to rest in the Father’s grace and love by “checking” less and less, and trusting more and more.

First is knowing of Gods Word/will. Second is stepping forward in faith. (As a lifestyle) This will includes trial, error and temporary failure. (Failure is how we grow into our potential) Then comes wisdom through learning, growing, mistakes and successes. Experience is a requirement to success. Mentors can help IF you follow through on what they teach you to do. Teaching in and of itself is not enough.

Thank you again Mark. One thing out of this video that really helped is when you talked about the passage in James about doubt and the one who doubts won't receive anything form the Lord. When I read that it always brought shame to me, because I have doubts. Now I see that everyone has doubts. I'm becoming an overcomer who takes the next step without letting the thoughts about what if this, what if that, what will he think, what will she think. Those thoughts come, but I take the next step anyway.

I’m afraid I might be a covert narcissist. My mom is (diagnosed) and my 12 year old told me I act just like her. I think she may be right but I don’t know how to change. I’m scared to be like my mother.

It's understandable that you are scared of repeating the toxic traits of your mother, but it doesn't mean you are a narcissist. PS: True narcissists don't even ask if they are one.

If we are saved by grace THROUGH faith, and faith is works… aren't works a part of our salvation (taking the next step?). This is where I struggle. If I don't take the next step, if I get too scared or refuse, I think that I am not saved because I am not pulling my weight in the salvation equation. It causes anxiety and a fixation on works (faith). I know there is something wrong with this way of thinking, but I don't fully understand how to correct it enough to not worry about it. I know there is no fear in love, so I know my love hasn't been made perfect. Even if I go back down the ladder to focus on hope or love, what if I get back to the faith portion and still fail to take that next step. Do I lose my salvation? No answer has satisfied me so far regarding this question…

If we are responding to a gift with faith, but faith is necessary for the gift… I'm lost lol. I constantly feel I am going to lose my salvation and end up in hell.
