very very good video, thanks, and I hope the distillery is doing well. 3 L heads, 30 L hearts and few litres of tails out of 500 L of pomace, I suppose the ABV of the pomace equals that of the wine = 12-15%... Assuming 12%, there's 60L of pure alc in 500 L of pomace, so the heads represent roughly 5% (3L) which makes perfect sense. Do you age it? if so in what wood?
Larry Ballenger more like brandy than moonshine. Moonshine is made with totally different ingredients, different mashing technology and a different type of still. Basically, it is NOTHING like Moonshine 😂😂

pmc eightsixeighty clearly you're a silly american. If anything he would be from an italian family which is why he is probably makeing grappa in the first place (but he actually sounds south african). Pronunciation doesn't make his 'english terrible' it gives him a accent.
