I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. Hi Alina. Never before have people from Ukraine and Poland been so close together. There are over a million Ukrainian war refugees in Poland by now and we all warmly welcome them here (I mean ordinary people, the government does sh*t as usual). I am now hosting 3 people from Ukraine in my apartment and I am no exception. It's our war, too. Love from Poland.

In Ukraine there were in 2020 44130000 population, media it’s talking about 1.6 millions of refugees so far, that’s around a 4% of all of them. It’s not much considering what’s happening there.

The destruction of beautiful Ukrainian cities and the loss of so many innocent lives is a shame. Ukraine did not heed the advice of Professor John Mearsheimer to Ukraine, which parallels the view of Dr Henry Kissinger, Ukraine must never be a military outpost of either NATO or Russia. It's very clear by now USA and NATO had never intended to engage in a war directly with Russia. All they want is to use Ukraine to fight Russia using Ukrainian blood. USA will fight Russia to the last drop of Ukrainian blood, supporting a war far away from its own continent. Because, to me it's like watching a WWII Hitler newsreel in current time....and we don't join the fight. I got an email from my online bank today (N26) who told me that they will match all customer donations made to the Intl Red Cross Ukraine fund. I immediately made a donation via the link which was doubled by my bank. I hope other businesses will follow this example and step up to aid Ukraine in the face of this outrageous aggression by Russia.

Zelensky's Ukraine has 97 billion debts, Ukrainians are fleeing abroad, Zelensky has a civil war in Ukraine, and now there is a war between NATO and Russia for the interests of Biden. We have to remember that every day 100 thousands Ukrainian crossing to Poland and they have nothing ? Also Poland trying to evacuate 10 thousands of orphans children they are the priority and please donate to them I think you should go to Poland and help volunteer with Ukraine people crossing to Poland! Just so you know, with the large Ukrainian population here in Saskatchewan there's a ton of fundraisers going on. A radio station in Regina raised more than $1million last week.

Thanks for the video, Alina. I hope your friends and family remain safe. Most of my friends and family are except for a friend's grandma who is missing (her house which she abandoned in Brovary was also destroyed), likewise another friend's aunt who escaped Donbas in 2014 and moved to Mariupol and is now missing. It is truly heartbreaking; many sleepless nights here in Australia worrying about everyone and hoping for the best. It is also sad that the west isn't doing enough to help Ukraine. The pictures I have seen are devastating (I hope some I have seen never make social media) but surely the west can't stand on the side when such atrocities are being carried out. It is clearly a genocide of Ukraine by Putin's regime.

Gracias, amigo brasileño. In Spain in every city Ukrainians are collecting staff to send to Ukraine and every Spaniard it’s helping. Dozens of trucks everyday go to Poland and buses go there to pick up Ukrainians and bring them to Spain. Now I am sure Ukraine will win the war.

When a new group is formed the plane will be sent again.

Is it really worth joining NATO? Especially when it is more of a military alliance that was created against former Soviet union back in the day. So, particularly when UN already exists for world collaboration, NATO seems pretty worthless, if not a perilous, to achieve true peace...not fear-based peace...but truly towards collaborative peace. NATO is leading to create a more divided world than united (just a note: "World" means all the countries on this planet, and not just the West or US, Canada, and EU)

NATO is a military defence alliance and given what's going on in Ukraine it's pretty hard to argue that it's worthless. If it didn't exist, there would be Russian tanks in Riga by now.

We feel your pain here from the UK just as most of the world does. The UK has raised so far £150 million in donations heading to Ukraine and more to come. They are now aiming to get more refugees into the UK. I watch the news all day everyday finding out what is happening. The pain you see is heartbreaking. I am happy to invite Ukrainians to come and stay in my home. Ukraine the world is with you.

I use have used Wise extensively for over a year and am very happy with the results. Keep in mind that Wise is bank account to bank account. Ukraine is a great country. So sad.

For some reason I always felt attracted to Ukraine. Far before the actual conflict. I can say the same about Canada. Not sure why (beside the suffering) but my heart is in Ukraine. Let's just expect the best and be prepared for the worst.

Hi Alina! Thank you for raising money for the people of Ukraine. I am donating $20 via your fundraiser. Quick question: my grandfather was from Terebovlya (Trembowla in Polish) but immigrated to the U.S. in 1920. Would you happen to know the predominant language spoken there? When he left, Terebovlya was still part of Poland and I'm trying to figure out if my family spoke Ukrainian or Polish. Thank you! ❤️

there are many telegram channels with a flood of information. many of them have very graphic images and videos of the disaster which don’t make the news. some of that content isn’t suggested for the regular viewer. and some content you may need to filter from disinformation. in general, it’s to the point where it’s overwhelming to keep track of everything that is going on. but having a look at them lets you become more informed than most people and many times inform you before the news even reports on it. from time to time there is humor and positive news which eases much of the worry. considering the civilian casualties, i would highly recommend your relatives flee the country if given the opportunity to do so unless they decide to fight. peace and safety to you and your family.
